Woman treated with Breast Lift, Breast Implant Removal

This 43 year old woman is 5'5 tall and weighs 133 lbs. She presented requesting removal of her implants. She had a prior breast lift when she had 225cc silicone gel implants placed below the muscle 5 years prior. Her implants/capsule are still very soft but she has developed some recurrent ptosis, (sagginess). She had removal of her implants and a partial capsulectomy with a repeat mastopexy, (lift), to have better access to the implants/capsule for removal as well as reshaping the breast. Her scars are still quite pink as the results are shown early, 10 weeks, after surgery.

45-54 year old woman treated with Breast Implant Removal

Patient had a deflation of her left breast implant and a capsular contracture of her right breast implant. She changed her implants from saline to Sientra silicone 280cc high profile implants. The silicone implants with removal of her capsular contracture give her a much more natural feel and appearance.

42 year old female who had a breast augmentation with smooth round gel Allergan Inspira SRX implants R=400cc and L=420cc. She replaced them with smooth round gel Allergan Inspira SRF implants R=325cc and L=295cc. She was a 34D cup and went down to a 34C cup. She is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weights 150 lbs. She has two children. Her incision is in the breast fold and the implant is under the muscle.

This patient is a female in her late 50's from the Phoenix, Arizona area who presented to my Scottsdale, Arizona area medical practice with complaints of back, neck and shoulder pain due to large breasts.  She had undergone breast augmentation surgery many years earlier, and her breasts had grown significantly since that time.  The patient wished to have her old implants removed and also wanted reshaping of her breasts.For this patient, I recommended removal of her old implants, with further removal of her excess breast tissue and a vertical (lollipop scar) breast tightening and lift.  I felt that this surgery would improve the appearance and proportion of her breasts, while alleviating her back and neck pain.During surgery, I removed this patient's old implants, which were 250 gram silicone implants, and I further removed 50 grams of tissue from the right and 80 grams of tissue from the left breast.  After this I performed a lollipop scar breast lift, avoiding a scar under the breasts.The patient did extremely well after surgery, and noted immediate improvement in her physical symptoms of back and neck pain.  She was extremely happy with the more proportionate and perkier appearance of her breasts.

This patient is a 41-year-old female who had previously undergone breast augmentation by another surgeon. There were saline implants in the subglandular plane. She has very unnatural appearance with severe drooping. During surgery I performed bilateral complete capsulectomies with implant shell removal, inverted T-scar mastopexies, power-assisted liposuction of lateral chest, flanks and medial thighs, and fat grafting to breasts bilaterally. A total of 220 cc of fat was injected into the medial and upper pole of each breast.  The patient recovered quickly and was extremely happy with her perkier, more natural, implant-free breasts.
