Hi, I am scheduled for a PRP with microneedling soon, but wanted to make sure that there is no risk of fat or volume loss with this procedure as there is with HIFU and RF treatments. Also wanted to make sure there is no risk of scarring. Thank you!
I had a micro needling procedure with a nurse practitioner. It was regular micro needling not with radio frequency. During the procedure there were some broken capillaries that bruised underneath my eye area. Within the first week after the treatment I noticed that my under eye area looked significantly worse it looked more aged, hollow, loss of volume, saggy and wrinkly. Can this happen if the micro needling was done improperly?
Will microneedling at depth of 3mm or more have the risk of losing facial fat/volume loss? I researched that microneedling w/ rf such as morpheus8 can kill the fat if it were to go beyond the dermis into the subcutaneous layer but not sure if this is the case for regular microneedling. I am mainly targeting acnes scars. What about for lasers such as co2 fractionated ablative laser? If volume loss is the result how can it build collagen and tighten the skin as that seems counterintuitive. Thanks
I have these fine lines on my cheeks when I smile. They are really noticeable in spot lighting and natural light. Im only 24 (turning 25 in April) and I need to know what has caused this to happen. I had a microneedling treatment done in February that I regret doing because Im worried it did this to my skin. I dont know if its volume loss, dehydrated skin, scarring etc. I have some acne scarring but not all over my cheeks. I have lost some weight but not a significant amount.
Hello knowledable people, I had gotten some volume loss and onset of wrinkles on my cheeks after at home .5 mm Dermaroller. It's been 2 months now and it's not healing very fast. Is PRP with microneedling a good option for me? What if my skin is sensitive to needles that's why it damaged with Dermaroller? Is microneedling in this light a good option for me? 2 months ago noticed right side develop nasal line. Due to age, loss of volume. Always had a small face - lost weight fastest & gain weight hardly ever. A doc said fillers easiest fix but want to avoid artificial stuff for now. Being preventive to avoid a point where it is too deep. Thank you! Costs helpful too. Would monthly microneedling help?
