Can a PRP with Microneedling shrink fat or cause fat loss in the face?

Subcision and TCA cross are also used for deep ice pick scars and narrow valley scars in order to improve the micro texture. As the skin heals, it makes collagen. There's evidence to suggest that microneedling helps reduce the depth of acne scars. Still, this treatment can take up to 9 months to see changes, according to the American Academy of Dermatology but just microneedling and PRP should not reduce fat around the face

PRP contains many growth factors and cytokines which improve blood flow, and recruit stem cells to the local area, to help with tissue regeneration and repair. It's important to ensure that both the PRP kit and microneedle device being used are approved by the FDA and/or Health Canada. Risk of scarring is very low, in fact PRP and microneedling can help to reduce the appearance of scars and some microneedle devices have received approval for this indication.
Sometimes, PRP can be injected into the deeper tissues, such as the fat layers where the growth factors can stimulate the fat cells. Or PRP may be combined with fat transfer for a synergistic effect with improved survival of the fat cells. Platelet concentrates may also be processed as Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and used in this manner to help with volume loss.
