I had deep nasolabial folds, 2 syringes of Juvadermxc it looked excellent even with bruising, now, the swelling is gone, it is uneven, and I can feel exactly where the blobs are in my face! The physicians office did not schedule a follow up, supposed to have a $750 credit from another earlier procedure but they said it had been too long, the money was gone. I asked for a f/u to which the office said I didn't need one. Hope i didn't make them mad? Is asymmetry & blobs normal?
Hi, I had juvederm ultra plus in my nasolabial folds nearly 2 years ago. It was always very unnatural looking, like it was swolle. Not red or tender, just swollen looking. was/am very unhappy and have been waiting patiently for this to dissolve, however it still looks like its there. I dont want to get more injections/dissolver as this has caused so much anxiety already. Will my face ever return to normal? I have read there is a rare reaction that causes swelling. Will thiis resololve?
Is it better to get Juvederm injections (in nasolabial folds around mouth) BEFORE or AFTER a dental cleaning? I read that infections can happen if juvederm injections and dental cleaning are done close together but I am wondering whether the order (which one takes place first) makes a difference?
I filled my nasolabial folds and under eyes over 2 years ago. There is still lumpiness. I got hyaluronidase for the eyes only and even after that it helped but didn't completely get rid of it. Yes I know it was Juvederm Ultra(not Voluma) that was injected and it shouldn't be injected under eyes anyway. However no one seems to give me an answer for why I still have issues. Can it be scar tissue or that it just dissipates slow with some?
Ive had 3 sessions of HIFU and noticed these pockets recently, located near my nose. Im not sure what they are but they feel squishy and become more prominent when i smile and give the chubby cheeks look. I didnt have them before so Im not sure if its just ageing or due to the hifu. Its made me so self conscious. What are the best options to have this removed?
I had Juvederm injected into my lips and nasolabial folds about 3 months ago. Now I have new lines from the corners between my lips and nasolabial folds. Is this from improper placement in my lateral lips? Or from the nasolabial fold filler? Are my folds overfilled?
I had a nasolabial filler over a year ago with Juvederm and have now developed a lump under my right eye for the last 6 months which still has not been diagnosed after having ultrasound; seeing a dermatologist and now seeing a Maxillofacial specialist. The lump swells up if touched with an pressure and then goes down after some days or weeks. It also moves around my face but remains on the RHS. Can anyone help with what this might be. Thanks so much.
Im a 30 yr old female. I got 1 cc of Juvederm filler injected into my nasolabial folds/marionette lines. Im normal weight. This was my first time getting filler. Im concerned that when the filler dissolves, my skin will sag and be stretched out. I dont plan on getting filler again so Im worried it will look stretched out when it dissolves. I read online that this can occur, but only with excessive amounts of filler. I still wanted to be sure my skin wont sag or be stretched.
Im 26 years old and even if Im quite young I have always had nasolabial folds. Not too much but enough for wanting to fix them. I got 0.5ml in each side. They told me to come back in 12 months to get it re-done. I like the result even though Id like it to be a little more noticeable My question is, over time, If I keep getting them done every year, 1ml in total, will they start becoming less and less noticeable with that amount? Or do I really need more? Thank you!
I am very unhappy with the area around the mouth I feel like I have lines showing And make up tends to sit in these areas. I was told this may take more than one syringe and for what that cost there are other treatment such as laser and I wanted to know if I should look into something else besides fillers since my lines are so deep. Thank you In advance
