Had ear surgery 1.5 years ago and since then have found my ears to be a bit uneven. What do you think? Would it be hard to fix? Also think that the right ear looks as bad as it did before. Could that be the reason for the asymmetry?
I had a otoplasty surgery done due the reason of me thinking my ears do extremely stick out. There were slight differences between the shaping of my ears, but i feel like after the otoplasty major asymmetry occurred . My surgeon said he can fix it with reconstructing a couple of stitches in a way lighter operation compared to the first. But i don't know if i can trust him with the procedure, i'm seriously considering treatment from other surgeons. Do you think it can be fixed easily? Thank you.
Can otoplasty make my ears bigger and make them higher up on my head? I know it can fix lop ear but I've never heard of ear enlargement or making them higher. My glasses won't stay up because they're too low down my head and they look ridiculously small. They're not missing any folds, just small and lopped. My right ear is further back and higher set than my left ear, can otoplasty make my ears look more similar and stick out less? My ears aren't only unattractive they're DEFORMED.
I have started to notice that on photos my left ear is different than my right. When I look in the mirror, there is hardly any difference between the ears, but if I take a picture, my ears look quite uneven. I realize this is because in the mirror my image is flipped. I am quite confident with how I look in the mirror but now that I know how I look in the pictures and therefore to other people, I always kinda feel unconfident about my looks.
I had ear surgery exactly 3 weeks ago, my ears were not reduced in size- just pinned back. I am absolutely in love w/ the way my left ear looks- it is perfectly pinned, but my right side only seems to be pinned from the bottom half down. The top half is still slightly sticking out. I noticed his from then moment my packing was taken off and I saw my new ears. Could this be swelling or did my dr just do an uneven job? It almost feels like my ear doesn't even have stitches on that part.
HI!.I had an otoplasty on my left ear three months ago because it used to stick out more than my right one. However now i notice that my left ear is also higher than my right one.Could this be due bad otoplasty, some kind of trauma(i got hit by a bottle of water 2 weeks post op but i didn't notice anything conserning. My doctor also confirmed that no damage had occurred)or was it like that the whole time and i never noticed? What kind of surgery can i have to aligne it with my right ear.Thanks.
