At age 19, while on accutane, I was told by a Derm to get extractions between my brows. Soon after, I looked like I had 11 lines but it was scar tissue. I've been getting botox regularly since I was 20, so it's virtually impossible that they are wrinkles because I haven't been able to frown in 10 years. I want a temporal brow lift to even out my eyebrows and smooth the skin between them. Looking for advice on this topic. I have tried botox, filler, micro needling, fibroblast, etc
I had a direct brow lift ay 2022 and did not receive the results I would like. Scars have healed pretty good but are indent and not as high as I would like. Should I get another direct or a different lift. Would scar tissue interfere with new surgery?
I am a 30 year old female. I want to get a brow lift as my right brow hangs a lot lower then my left and it has always looked horrible to me. Unrelated to my eyebrow shape, when I was young I got hit in the forehead and have a permanent lump of scar tissue under the skin. Is this something that could be corrected and removed with a brow lift? I'm not sure how a brow lift works but I think there is a cut into the scalp to access and pull the muscles and tissues in the forehead?
I had a endoscopic brow lift July 5th. I have lumps under Both my brows. What could this be. My corrugator muscles were cut out. Could this cause scar tissue formation or could I just still be swollen? The lumps are firm. Ive tried ice, heat, massages.
I got an endoscopic eyebrow lift 4 years ago. I still have bumpy/dented areas on my forehead, which I assume is scar tissue from the instruments. When I stand under certain light or make movement in my forehead, the scars are more noticeable. Can lasers smooth out the scar tissue that is underneath the surface? Or will I need some sort of filler(s)? My forehead has aged terribly after the eyebrow lift. Loose and bumpy... :(
Sorry for my lack of proper description last time. I have stiff bulging internal scar tissues (collagen I've been told) in between and above (all around) my brows as seen in the pics. I'm not frowning at all in the pics. These bulges are there 24/7 and will not go away no matter what I do (massage therapy ,ice packs, arnica, I've tried 'em all) I'm 2.5 years post-op but still in major pain from these swollen scar tissue bulges. they push down on my brows and hurt so much. please help. NO botox
Hi, I have excessive amount of leftover scar tissues in and surrounding my brows that is causing my so much discomfort and pain as well as lack of brow movement. I have tried massage therapy, taking arnica, to decrease the swelling and to encourage break down of scar tissues but they just will not budge at all. I'm in pain everyday from scar tissues pressing down on my brows. What can be done to decrease/remove these tissues? Please NO botox. too many horror stories. permanent solution only plz.
Hi, I am sch. to have an eyebrow lift, eyelid tuck on Monday. My doc cuts into the eyebrow for this surgery. I have light and thin eyebrows and am concerned about the scars being very noticeable. She does not do the procedure from the forehead. Should I be concerned or do you think the scars will fade. Thanks, Diane
Had a direct brow lift procedure first in 2010 and the left incision healed nice, the right scar was quite a bit wider than the left. In 2011 I had the brows lifted a little higher with a different physician, and while the left incision has not gotten very wide(about 1 - 1.5mm at most) the right was again wider, with a width of around 2.5-3.5mm (4mo post op). I've contemplated having revision, but I feel it will turn out the same way. Is there anything can really be done, or should I accept it?
