At age 19, while on accutane, I was told by a Derm to get extractions between my brows. Soon after, I looked like I had 11 lines but it was scar tissue. I've been getting botox regularly since I was 20, so it's virtually impossible that they are wrinkles because I haven't been able to frown in 10 years. I want a temporal brow lift to even out my eyebrows and smooth the skin between them. Looking for advice on this topic. I have tried botox, filler, micro needling, fibroblast, etc

Answer: Will a brow lift smooth out scar tissue between my brows caused by extractions? A brow lift is a surgical procedure designed to elevate the eyebrows and create a more youthful and refreshed appearance. It involves lifting the skin and tissues of the forehead to reposition the eyebrows higher on the face. While a brow lift can address sagging eyebrows and forehead wrinkles, it is not specifically designed to treat scar tissue caused by extractions or other forms of skin damage. Scar tissue forms as a natural part of the body's healing process after injuries, including extractions. If you are concerned about scar tissue between your brows, it's important to consult with a skilled dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss appropriate treatment options. They might recommend treatments such as: 1.) Dermabrasion: This procedure involves using a rotating device to remove the upper layers of skin, which can help improve the appearance of scars. 2.) Laser Therapy: Laser treatments can help stimulate collagen production and improve the texture and color of scars. 3.) Micro-needling: This involves using tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, stimulating collagen production and helping to reduce the appearance of scars. 4.) Topical Treatments: There are various creams, ointments, and serums available that contain ingredients such as silicone, vitamin E, and other compounds that can help improve the appearance of scars over time. 5.) Fillers: In some cases, dermal fillers might be used to help even out the appearance of scars by filling in depressed areas. It's important to note that the effectiveness of these treatments can vary based on the type and severity of the scar. Consultation with a medical professional is crucial to determine the most suitable treatment plan for your specific situation. A brow lift, on the other hand, is not likely to directly address scar tissue, and it's important to have realistic expectations about the outcomes of any procedure or treatment.
