I had a full bag of ice on my breasts one day post opp. I was told not to get them wet and the bag leaked in full and I didn't notice. I have blow dried the bandages dry but I am worried something might have been damaged underneath due to the water going through. It's too late to call my doctor and I don't want to seem like a paranoid patient. Any advice would be very helpful
I had my surgery a week ago. I was suppose to get my bandages off today and he changed the date till next week. 2 weeks seems a bit long to have bandages on since everything I read says people were taking showers a coupld days after.
Im 4 days post ba, completely strapped up & cant take the bandages off for 2 weeks so cant see boobs. Today is the first day ive felt any sensation in my nipples or can feel where they are sitting. On the photo my nipple is exactly under my finger. From an experts view i would like to know if its pretty normal that my nipples are this low at this point? Do you think my nipples will be more centred as the impants drop and fluff? <3
I have not removed the bandages yet (I'm on day 3 post op). I was instructed to do it on day 4 post op, after showering the 1st time. That's when I will also need to replace the bandages. Therefore I have not seen the incisions. However they hurt a lot and bulge a little. The post opertion bra (Cerecare with implant stabilizer) seems to also rub into to incision area in a very unpleasant way.
I had my breast augmentation surgery 22 days ago. I have an event this weekend that I would like to get a spray tan for. It would be 3.5 weeks/ almost 4 weeks after when surgery when I would get it. My incisions look fully closed and just like small pink lines.. Is it okay to get a spray tan or does this put me at risk for an infection?
I took my bandages off last night in the shower and my incisions are begging for more Easter and I just want to put triple anabiotic point meant on them but I was told not to. However, on my next follow up I believe there is some ointment they sell for scar treatment. Does it really help or can I just put ointment and vitamin E on my incisions?
I had my breast augmentation 8 days ago with 300cc under the muscle with silicone monobloc textured implants. My surgeon tells all patients that the compression bandage needs to stay on for 2 weeks. I am allergic to elastoplast and I'm having a reaction to them. My surgeon has advise to take antihistamines but keep the bandages on. He is in Belgium and I am in the UK so I can't physically go to see him. I can't see why I can't just go straight into a sports bra now. Would this cause me problems?
It's been 4 days since my surgery. I have 3 children ages 4, 3 and 7 months. I have been so careful not to pick them up etc (my mom has them in the day and my husband on the evenings) I haven't gone out the house or got them wet. I'm not in any pain just abit sleepy. But I've got blood on my bandages and am worried. I've emailed and spoke to Harley medical group and I am seeing them in 2 days for my post op appointment. But it's just playing on my mind. Can anyone reassure me?
Had breast augumention 350 cc + lift on the 13 October. From the 1st of November I started getting stitches coming through. Doctors put me on antibiotics. Just finish antibiotics yesterday. Every day I change bandages and put cream on. How long can I expect this to last b
