Im 4 days post ba, completely strapped up & cant take the bandages off for 2 weeks so cant see boobs. Today is the first day ive felt any sensation in my nipples or can feel where they are sitting. On the photo my nipple is exactly under my finger. From an experts view i would like to know if its pretty normal that my nipples are this low at this point? Do you think my nipples will be more centred as the impants drop and fluff? <3
Answer: Nipple position after breast augmentation Thank you for your question. it is too early at this stage to determine if your nipples are in the correct position. Usually, unless the position of the nipples is low to start a breast augmentation would not make them lower. the position of the nipples is relative to the position of implants underneath, so if the implant is sitting too high they will look to low, if the implants are positioned or drop too low the nipples will look too high and can be visible with a bra. At you stage of healing is possible that the implants especially if positioned under the muscle still need to drop and fluff. In this case the final position of your nipples would rotate upwards . Answer: Breast aug post op Thank you for your question. You are way too early in the recovery process to determine nipple placement after a Breast Augmentation. Breasts take 6-8 months to settle completely. As the implant settles down the nipple rotates up a bit and typically are okay as long as you weren't that droopy to begin with and or having low set nipples to start off with.

Answer: BA results Dear demiwild,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 4 days post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides and the implants drop to their final position, you will be able to see the final result of your breast augmentation surgery.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Are my nipples too low 4 days post BA? You are still very early in the healing process and what you are seeing are not your final results yet. You may still be experiencing persistent swelling, bruising and breast tissue tightness. You will still undergo significant improvements in the coming months as your body heals. Your best course of action would be to have faith and patience for your results. It takes around 6 months before you may conclude your results. For now, follow your surgeon's instructions and allow yourself to heal.

Answer: Post Operative Breast Augmentation Thank you for your question. At this point, you are too early to determine what your nipple position will be once your implants settle. While you may notice subtle changes throughout the healing process, you need to allow at least 6 months for your tissues to stretch, muscles to relax, and implants to settle before considering what your final result is. At this point, it is important to rest and recover. I suggest that you follow your surgeon's post operative protocol and follow up as suggested. Best of luck with your continued recovery,
