An arm lift (also known as brachioplasty) tightens loose skin under the arm that creates what many call a "bat wing" appearance. It's frequently performed on those who have sagging skin due to massive loss weight or natural aging. The procedure is often performed in conjunction with liposuction to get rid of excess fat.

After years of hating my arms, I decided to have an arm lift. I'm at day 2 and so far couldn't be happier. No pain, some swelling and bruising. My recovery has been so far extremely easy. My husband has had to help with my compression wraps and taking a Tshirt off and on. I've kept my arms... READ MORE

After losing 100 lb through 3 full years of hard work (healthy eating and consistent exercise), I was more than ready to be "done" with the excess skin on my upper arms (when my weight rose, the size of my arms became disproportionately large). The worst part was sleeping on my back for weeks,... READ MORE

I've been wanting an arm lift for a really long time. I've been very fearful of the dreaded armlift scars. Unlike a tummy tuck or butt lift, you can't hide the scars & what's the point of getting an arm lift if you have to wear long sleeves anyway if you have to hide the scars. But, I... READ MORE

I had 3 consultations before walking in to Dr. Kolder's office. I was pretty disillusioned before meeting Dr. Kolder. He was the warmest, most informative surgeon I had met. I have always been overweight, at one point I lost 35 kilos but over time I gained 10 back, for whatever reason I carried a lot of weight in my arms and due to poor elasticity in my skin I ended up with the most horrible "tuck shop" arms. I cannot put into words how these arms were restricting... READ MORE

Dr. Khan explained to me all options, non-invasive and otherwise, to improve the appearance of my arms. I also was interested in adding volume to my face -- volume lost due to age. I was excited when she suggested that she could use my own fat as a filler for my face instead of some other... READ MORE

I tell this story...not because it is MY story, but because it is a story worth telling!
