Best Surgeon Ever!

Dr. D hs done four procedures on me. I am a post gastric bypass patient with a lot of excess skin issues. Dr. D is a great surgeon who provides great results. He also has a great bedside manner, is caring, and has a great deal of integrity. He will discuss your concerns at the consultation and then give you his opinion. I have know many people that have been to see him, and he will tell a patient if they do NOT need surgery, or it won't help their issue. How many other surgeons will deny business by being honest and refusing to just make a quick buck? Dr. D cares, and after having multiple surgeries over the years, is the ONLY surgeon who waited in the recovery room until I was discharged. So, can you really afford to not go have a consult with him and see for yourself?
You Will Not Find a Better Doctor - Orange, CA

First, let me say that the cost I have shown here is for TWO surgeries - a mini tummy tuck and a thigh lift, done separately. This site doesn't give the opportunity to distinguish this info. The care I received from Dr D was unlike any care you will receive from ANY other doctor. He runs his practice the way all doctors probably wish they could run theirs but don't have the courage to do away with all the bells and whistles that the patient ends up paying for. In a nutshell - your 'face time' with Dr D is extensive. From your first consultation to your last post op follow up. My initial consultation was over an hour and this was one on one with the doctor - asking questions, getting to know each other, and getting comfortable with each other. This is personal stuff and you need to be comfortable with your doctor, and vice versa. Dr D is very big on post op follow ups and for good reason. He's a perfectionist and wants to make sure everything is healing properly. Never did I have to sit in a crowded waiting room, feel rushed, or like he was not completely focused in on me and know exactly who I was and what was going on with my situation. Dr D performed 2 separate surgeries, a mini tummy tuck and a thigh lift. I felt completely prepared for each one and there were no surprises. He explained everything in such detail, what was going to happen, the after affects, the recovery, the healing process, and the expected results, and he was right on target. I followed doctors orders to the letter, which is big too, so when your paying for someone to work their magic, you've got to do your part also. Lisa is the perfect extension of Dr D - she knows who you are, whats going on and makes you feel instantly comfortable. Prior to my consultation with Dr D I went to 1 other Dr in La Jolla for a consult. Beautiful office overlooking the ocean, staff of countless botoxed beauties, excellent surgeon with a great reputation and white lab coat. I saw him for about 30 seconds, while his staff chatted me up and sent me off with a 3 ring binder of glossy photos and their price. I don't recall his price for the 2 surgeries but I remember it was higher then Dr D's. I also remember after my consultation with Dr D, I didn't care if he was more or less then the La Jolla Dr.....I already knew he was MY doctor (turned out he was less of course). This was the best decision I could have made. I have no scarring, no horror stories and could not be happier with my results. Dr D is a master at his craft and as I said before, an absolute perfectionist. The incisions are really a work of art, even though they are barely visible. I would not want anyone else to perform any kind of surgery on my body except for Dr D and highly recommend him to any and everyone.

Even from the night of the surgery I knew I had made the right decision and picked the right doctor. I was and am extremely happy. I had tons of pre and post op visits and even years later he's still available for consultations. I plan to have another procedure and I'll never go to another plastic surgeon, his work is amazing and so is his office availability.

Tummy Tuck
Dr. DiSaia did my tummy tuck 7 years ago. I had had 4 cesarean sections, a hernia repair and an abdominal hysterectomy, so my poor stomach was thrashed. He met with me, answered all my questions and gave me an excellent price on my surgery. Now, all this time later, I still think it was one of the best decisions I ever made. I would refer anyone to this excellent physician. I call him "The Wiz."

If you are looking for great plastic surgeon in Orange county, Dr D is it! I’ve had breast surgery and my mother-in-law has had a tummy tuck. I met him by pure blessing and luck! I came over an hour away to take care of my Mother-in-law after her surgery. John called me after her surgery and talked with me on the phone for at least 15min. explaining everything he did during surgery and what to do after surgery for a speedy recovery. I have never had a doctor care so much and be so personable! I was planning on having implants exchanged and gave him my story on the same call. He said “Come in with her on her follow up in two days and I will see you then” This is just unheard of in the medical field these days. My Mother-in-law is more than happy with her tummy. I knew I wanted him to do my surgery. Great surgeon!! Real person with a big heart and really cares about you, not your dollar! Says it like it is! I have never written a review for anyone, but feel compelled to let others know to consult with him!

I found Dr D from his Web site :) He made this very easy as I trusted him immediately. I had a limited labiaplasty which was with numbing shots only in his San Clemente office, but I did all my after surgery visits in his Orange office which is small and not Newport looking at all. (Sorry Dr D) The ability to do this and not tell anyone was so awesome though! I drove myself home after. Being that Dr D has been so great, I would say get over the office thing (I did) and go to see the "p master" if you are thinking of doing this. I just look so epic and will try to get up the courage to show you my After pix soon. I feel pretty proud that I can actually talk about it after so many years of hating my vajayjay. ROFL

I am only sorry I didn't meet Dr. Di Saia and do this sooner. I would recommend him without question, for any procedure. He has a wonderful bedside manner, talks to you and listens to what you have to say. I have a doctor that knows me personally and that I can trust. I am very comfortable with him and feel like we are friends. Not to minimize the fact that he is good at what he does and knows what he is doing. I would go to him again, in a heartbeat, with any procedure I would consider. I referred my daughter in law to him for breast augmentation and she lives an hour an a half away. She had the procedure done and was thrilled with her results. She is another "sold" client! Thank you Dr. Di Saia!!!!

I feel so thankful I had to share. I chose Dr D because after that first meeting, I knew he would do whatever he could to make it happen for me. He felt so trustworthy. Then he earned that trust. Dr D is simply the best plastic surgeon out there for labiaplasty (and probably a lot of other stuff.) I agonized over the decision to have surgery after reading the forums. Some women have had Halloween results. They made me cry. I saw a few doctors and some scared me even more. Creepers! Then there was Dr D!

So I did my research and finally decide to go to Dr Di. for the scar revision. That was a good decision! I'm very happy with the result. He is not only good at skill but also has the honesty and intergrity. One of the best Doctor in California!!

Dr. Di Saia is a nice guy and excellent surgeon. He really takes the time to explain what he is doing and is not arrogant like some doctors. He will also be honest about results/expectations and not try to sell surgeries that won't help you. Dr. Di Saia's assistant Lisa is also very helpful in making sure things work with your schedule and very prompt about returning calls.

Dr. Di Saia is a very skilled surgeon who takes genuine interest in his patients. He will always be honest and tell people the truth instead of what they might want to hear in order to make money. His assistant Lisa is also very helpful and will get back to you right away to schedule appointments and answer any questions. Dr. Di Saia is not arrogant like most plastic surgeons and really takes pride in what he does with the best interest of his patients coming first. The office is clean, comfortable and have never had to wait very long when arriving for an appointment.

I have nothing to compare to since I only have one tummy and one tummy tuck, but I had no issues and very personal care, I only saw the doctor and quite regularly. I chose Dr D based upon personal knowledge of how seriously he takes his tummy tucks and I was not disappointed.
