Everything I read about Vanquish was it was pain free. I had areas on my stomach that were very hot and required the technician to reduce the power delivered as the pain was too much to tolerate. I also had a few areas that had blistered/burned from the treatment. Is this a common occurence ?
Will the same side effects happen after each treatment? I had my 1st vanquish treatment 3 days ago. On stomach and it was borderline unbearable but back was pain-free. I was in terrible pain after and the next day my fat deposit was swollen to 3x its normal size. I couldnt exercise for days, still hurts to walk even. If I continue treatment, should I expect the same level of swelling and pain each time? I dont have any hard lumps and the provider used the Z-wave. I dont get it, I look huge and am so sore. What could have gone wrong?
I recently had my first Vanquish treatment on my thighs. A day later I started feeling extremely tender in the areas. It feels like extreme bruising but without the discoloration. I don't have any lumps or nodules, just the tenderness and pain. I can't lie on my side or sit a certain way without it being very painful. During treatment it got pretty uncomfortable for a short while, hot spots etc, but the discomfort eventually eased. It is much worse on my right leg than my left.
I expected to be uncomfortable, but it felt like it was burning my sides. Is there anything I can do to avoid this pain? I will talk with the office where my procedure was performed, but I was scheduled to have 4 additional procedures and now I'm nervous. Can I take ibuprofen before the procedure? Why can't a numbing cream be used prior to the process? Thank you for your input.
I had my first Vanquish treatment today on my abdomen and flanks, 30 minutes each. Felt burning, pinching and sharp cramping sensations during treatment even after having the paddles adjusted. Tuning level was at 200 for 30minutes on abdomen and then flanks. Had to stop treatment at times due to the pain. I felt hot spots, especially on my hip bones. Vanquish has been touted as being relatively pain-free, so why did I have such pain? I am petite, 5'2, am in relatively good shape and would like to lose a couple of inches around my middle.
i had several treatments across front and side abdomen. i developed painful nodules everyone speaks of like they're no big deal, but about 7 years on, they're still painful and not gone. yes, i went to a fully vetted, certified, legitimate & successful medspa. i contacted them some years on and when i went in for them to check it out, the Dr. (who I'd never met before), very lightly touched the area, said he felt nothing and recommended a tummy tuck! What's my next step?
