I strongly fee that your symptoms are completely unrelated. Vanquish does not make parients feel sick like you describe. The only side effects we have experienced in our office is muscle sorenness, like when you work out too hard, and occasional swelling as well as nodules. Those symptoms resolve themselves usually within the week.
It is unlikely due to your Vanquish treatment. If it persists, I recommend following up again with your Doctor. Keep in mind, Vanquish needs a combination approach to get the most improvement. I recommend combining Vanquish with Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. We currently use a fire and ice treatment with Coolsculpting and Vanquish for good results in fat removal. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results for body shaping, but requires more down-time. See an expert for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
It's very unlikely for Vanquish to be causing indigestion or diarrhea. Patients do routinely report more regularity in their bowel movements while undergoing Vanquish treatments, perhaps in part because we ask patients to hydrate better. Vanquish can sometimes cause nodules to form under the skin which resolve with time and represent areas of fat necrosis. Combining with Zwave helps move more fat out of the area as well.
Thank you for your question and sorry to hear of the problems you are experiencing. I believe it is highly unlikely that your problems relate to your Vanquish treatments. By the description of your complaints you have some form of inflammatory condition, bacterial overgrowth of the gut or malabsorption. With 3 weeks duration, you should seek referral to a gastroenterologist for a thorough workup of your problem.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
Hello and thank you for your question. Many patients see results in as little as 2-3 treatments, but it takes on average 2-4 months to realize your full results after your final treatment. It's important to enjoy a healthy, balanced diet and also remember to stay hydrated. Best wishes to yo...
Vanquish uses radiofrequency heat to kill fat cells only. It doesn’t reach down far enough to affect your organs and has no adverse effects on your skin, either. Basically, the heat from Vanquish disrupts the function of the cells, shutting them down. Your body then kicks in to eliminate the d...
Vanquish ME (the newest Vanquish treatment) kills fat cells in a non surgical fashion. As the fat goes away the skin generally retracts with it. Most people over time also get a small amount of skin tightening from the heat on the skin. For more skin tightening we often combine Vanquish ME ...
As long as you are fully healed from your cesarean section, you should be able to remove excess superficial fat with Vanquish. However, the only way to determine candidacy for this effective fat-removal technique is to meet in person with a board-certified dermatologist. You need to be at a...
Thank you for your question, while it is usually uncommon to have pain after the procedure I have had patients experience "tenderness" without the lumps or bumps. The words "sore" and "tender" would be normal to hear, but "pain" and "extremely tender" may be something you want to follow up with....
Vanquish uses heat generated by invisible, radio frequency waves of energy to cause injury to fat cells in a similar manner that coolsculpting uses cold to injure fat cells. Both technologies affect 20-25% of the fat cells in the area of treatment but generally the area is much larger with the...
