I am 5'3 and 115lbs.I was diagnosed the other day by a local doctor in my area with an umbilical hernia and diastasic recti and need a full tummy tuck. The doctor also said I needed to gain 5-10lbs in a partial jokingly way.I am also a long distance runner and was thinking my running could improve with a stronger core?Since I have little fat to work with, will my results look unnatural? Can you recommend a surgeon in the Houston area that has worked with slimmer women?Thank you for your help.
After second pregnancy, this time with twins, I have some excess skin, not so much that it really hangs while stood up but if I'm leaning forward etc I get a pouch that hangs forward. Also my belly button is stretched out. I feel like tummy tucks look unnatural and I hate the enormous scar. I don't think the skin is so bad it needs such a drastic surgery so I was hoping there would be an alternative procedure, similar in a way to a donut breast-lift but around the belly-button instead?
Following abdominoplasty I have an extremely flat tummy. It usually feels hard and not pliable. I lost all softness, and despite being on the thin side, have no muscle shape visible. It's been 2.5 years and I feel so much better but wish my belly button looked a little more natural. Is this fixable?
The muscle repair line is not straight from ribs to belly button. It deviates to the side of my button creating an unnatural Look. I am 3 mnths post full tummy tuck and muscle repair. I was thin and shapely before with excess skin from pregnancy and don't mind having the vertical dent if it's straight behind belly button, not to side. I see my doctor in two weeks but hope someone will know if this is normal or a problem. My stomach is still VERY hard and skin tight, very little swelling though.
I love my overall result, but feel like the belly button looks unnatural. The circle scar seems very clear. Also, the skin is very tight and doesn't hood at the top. My doctor says the scar will lighten. What I'm wondering is whether my belly button will look natural when the healing is done (9 months from now). Based on what you see, do you think it will still be obvious then that I had the TT from looking at my belly button? Will the scar fade enough? And/or, will the skin loosen a bit?
I had a circumferential tummy tuck 6 months ago. Although I am pleased with the results overall, I no longer have a waist line and my belly button is flat against my skin - it is not indented at all. Will either of these conditions improve over time or are these my final results?
