Hello, had a rhinoseptoplasty in September of 2020. Didn't have any pain for the past year and the results are quite good and pleasant. But, a white dot has been forming and growing on density for some time now. It's a big white bump on the left side or my nose tip. What should I do? https://imgur.com/a/zXzRY9O Can't post the photos, so here they are above
I developed a hard white bump on my right side 6 months after rhinoplasty. I later developed the same hard white bump on my left side. These bumps are becoming more visible. They are particularly noticeable after exercising. Are these Bossae? Is it true that they will continue to get worse? How difficult is it to correct? Are there any surgeons in the NJ/NY/PA area that specialize in this type of complication?
So I got a nose job down somewhere in 2010 over a couple of years I noticed a small white bump almost looks like a pimple with a white tip, when I first noticed it I actually thought it was a pimple but it's something else. What could this be? Could it be from the surgery I had years ago? It's hard and sorta pointy. It bothers me knowing it's there.
My right nostril seems to have extra cartilage in it. It also sort of pops if I touch it, as if it's going back into palce. I've noticed recently that my nostril is actually closing completely when I breath in... It looks like my nostril is becoming smaller and smaller... It also recently started getting sore, red, scabby and I think infected as it looks slightly white/green. Can you please give me an idea of whats going on and what the possible solution are.
7 mo post op, thin skin before surgery and now cartilage shows even more through the tip. No grafts were placed in my nose, tip just shaved down. My dr's plan-revise at a yr thru closed procedure, take fascia from my ear to lay over the tip of my nose. Experts-agree? Should I trim some off the tip so projection is not added by the fascia? Should this be a closed procedure? Lastly, is this fairly easy or complex revision? ONLY want to change white tip and boney cartilage look of tip... soften
I got rhinoplasty and alar reduction done in Korea 4 weeks ago. I got my alars cut and today I noticed a tiny white bump on the outside of my nostril where it was cut. I thought it was dry skin or a clogged pore so I tried pulling it out but it doesn't budge. Now it looks more like the end of a thread. Is this threading from stitches or something? What should I do? It's hard to contact my surgeon in Korea (that's just how they are with foreign patients I guess).
When my heart rate is really high for longer periods of time (the picture is 15 minutes after a 5km run so the extreme white in the tip has gone isn't as extreme as while I was running) the tip of my nose and upper lip goes white like there is no blood going to it. This has only happened since my rhinoplasty 9 months ago.
Hi I just had my op last week!! Yesterdey the nurse took my cast off. My nose is still blocked but i saw a whitish string sticking out my left nostril. I havnot yet touched but wondering what it could be. Looks like a thread, feels like material thread. Thnks
I had rhinoplasty a week ago, and noticed a couple days ago that I had a white string in the inside of my nostril. I realized that it was a stitch, and wasn't worried about that. What did concern me was the hard, white bumps inside of my nose right above the stitch, ending at the top of the inside of my nostril. I am worried the stitch didn't hold, and that there is cartilage grafts or something coming out from where the stitch is/was. It's not in the other nostril. What could it be??
