I had rhinoplasty 3 days ago. Had a good nose already, and wanted only very minor shaping done - a small bony bit removed from the right side of my bridge, and asked for advice on my tip - which i felt wasn't supported when i smiled. Surgeon suggested a cartilage implant in the tip (taken from my ear). I said I was concerned as I didn't want an upturned nose. He said that, at most, it would raise the tip 1mm. Now, day 3 and I have a pig nose, and totally distressed. Can I get it removed??
I am 3 days post op rhinoplasty and there's this weird liquid that smells awful in my nose which is dripping down to my throat. I'm absolutely unable to eat anything. It makes me gag. Is this normal?
rhinoplasty on Monday to reduce dorsal hump, raise tip etc. Now at the end of my 3rd post opp day - I've been sneezing a lot of clear dishcharge (felt like my right nostril was irritated). I sneezed a large ball of mucous. After that the sneezing stopped. Right nostril seems to have cleared completely and air is circulating through without any extra effort. I have only cleaned with a qtip shallowly. No bleeding or pain is present. Is this cause for concern? Sincerely, late at night and worried.
Post-op day 2&3 I've ran a temp around 99.6. I called my surgeon and he said that is normal after surgery to run slightly high. But this morning, post-op day 4, I'm running around 100.3-100.6. Should I be concerned or is that still a normal temperature to run after surgery?
I got a rhinoplasty surgery 3 days ago done under local anesthesia and my nose from the side looks humongous! It was never this big so is this normal? I'm scared that when my Dr removes the cast, my nose is going to be horrible. I also included pictures of my nose before the surgery. Please help
Hello, I had a rhinoplasty three days ago and woke up with a sore throat. My lip was bruised from the breathing tube and when I went home my uvula was swollen, red, and dark. The inside of throat has been bloody and irritated ever since. It still hurts. Is this serious damage? Will it heal? Thank you
