Hello, My initial rhinoplasty was very aggressive and my bridge was scooped, pointy tip rounded. I am looking for revision rhinoplasty to rebuild my bridge and restore my tip. My surgeon shortened and rounded my tip. I used to have a pointy and long tip. The tip change makes my nose bulbous and unflattering wheh smiling, as my tip used to point down when smiling. Is there any procedure that can elongate my nose and make it pointy again?
I am almost 8 months post op rhinoplasty but I feel like the tip looks a bit weird. Sharp or pointy. It still feels very hard specially the very tip. Can this round out and soften or get sharper and pointier ? Thank you
The top is the before and the bottom is after . I am two days getting my cast off and absolutely hate my results. I asked for just a little tip refinement from the sides and instead was given an overly pinched squidward nose. My soft cute feature is gone and now replaced by a grinch pointy nose. Its way too small for my face. I know there is swelling but Im guessing swelling will decrease it and make it even smaller which is worse do I have any hope to make it softer and rounded again?
I had expressed to my surgeon that I wanted a smaller looking nose and that I wanted the tip reduced, the dorsal hump to be reduced and to fix my deviated septum. I expressed these concerns to my surgeon but I feel like my results werent achieved with what I was asking, he did straighten out my bridge and fixed my deviated septum but he didnt make my tip smaller, before I had asked him and he insisted on using my existing anatomy and now I feel my nose looks big and pointy.
About a year ago I had open revision rhinoplasty in Istanbul Turkey. I did surgery there for my deviated septum and very cosmetic reasons. My cosmetic issue was my profile on each side was not even and my tip was very rounded and long. I wanted to keep the shape of my nose but just fix the symmetry on mh profile and bulging tip. The doctor said he would need to use cartilage from my nose to fix it. My nose now is too lifted with small uneven nostrils and too short for my face. How can I fix it?
I need a revision for my high, pointy tip. My goal is to have it rounded, and brought down slightly to have more harmony with my bridge. I don't want a dramatic change in the rest of my nose, though. I like my low bridge and don't want me nose brought down or straightened... would it be possible to achieve this? I have added edits of what my goal is, as well as my current front view
hi! I am considering a revision rhinoplasty as I am approaching 1yearPO and realizing the surgeon failed to hold true to his promises- to keep my boxy tip. It is drastically narrowed now, to a curved tip. It does not fit or suit my face, and is asymmetric, and I'm wondering if it would be possible at all to rebuild a boxy cartilage tip to the nose. I hardly ever see results like this, and I'm just wondering if it's possible. Thank you
My previous surgery was a fail and now i have a huge shapeless nasal bridge and a pointy tip. I had a collapse from my first surgery on one side so the new dr did osteotomies and put cartilage on the collapsed side. The thing is now it looks like a balloon. Can i get the bones and cartilage shaved a bit with revision or will it collapse again?
My surgeon removed 2mm cephalic trim which shouldve been enough but then he also sutured my tip together, added cap greft etc.. now it looks too pointy at the tip, 2mm wider tip lines compared to my massive bridge (he made bridge very wide!) i dont want additional rib grefting, i want a simple procedure, is it possible to cut off the dome binding sutures he made and shave the cap greft so i have more a rounded nose?
