Tip revision to restore pointy tip? (Photo)

It's hard to tell from only front photos, but during a rhinoplasty revision, the bridge can certainly be built up again. The tip may be able to be brought down some, but that is a harder task. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty expert for consultation.

It is impossible to make recommendations for you based on the two singular photos that you posted. I understand that you feel that your tip is wider after surgery, however, you do not have an operated nasal appearance. Perhaps considering asking you a question with side-by-side before and after photos and all of the important views for a better ability for the experts to evaluate your condition digitally. If you are happy with the rest of your rhinoplasty procedure, it would be reasonable to consider an open tip rhinoplasty under local anesthetic to add a special cartilage graft known as a septal projection graft to give more support to your tip cartilages so that they won't flatten and broaden with smiling. You could consider adding a conservative tip cartilage graft as well to centralize the point a bit more. I have been using cadaveric rib graft since 2013 for these procedures and it works very well. I have not had any complications using cadaver tissue and it simplifies a patient's recovery.

Hello and thank you for your question. It really depends on how far out from surgery you are. If less than one year, you should consider waiting longer. Tip definition can be improved with a revision in the right patient. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
