I’m 27 with 3 children, ages 8, 3, and 4 months. And all three of them have left my breasts saggier and smaller every time! I knew that a breast lift was in my future, but as a young woman I always had larger breasts and hated them as I am extremely athletic and they always seemed to be in the way. Now, after losing them, I realize how blessed I was to have a full bosom. So now I want my boobs back. And my husband firmly believes in “happy wife, happy life”, and he’s certainly not complaining about new ta-ta’s. The problem is that, he is just as indecisive about size as I am!! I’m just having a difficult time figuring out how much is too much? I went up to 450ccs in my consultation with Dr. Sonderman and I just felt that it may be more than I care to have when all is said and done. I also still have a fair amount of breast tissue to work with, which is why we are able to place my implants above the muscle in order to achieve the round, perky look. I am adamant that I want boobs that sit high on my chest, and I want them round - not teardrop or natural. The doctor seems confident that he can achieve the look I’m going for with the 415 high profile implants. But I’m wondering if it would be smarter to go bigger to achieve more of that upper pole roundness? I’m attaching my before pics along with my end-goal desires. Surgery in exactly 4 weeks! Feedback appreciated!

What size bra did you wear before surgery? And what size bra do you where after surgery?

Hi! I was a 32d in Victoria’s Secret pre-surgery, but most of it was skin/saggy tissue, and VS is very generous with their sizes. I’m still in my surgical bra. I’ll update my Victoria Secret size when I’m able to try on a real bra. I’m still very very swollen, so it’s pointless to try right now.

Five Days Until Surgery

I’m five days away from my BL/BA. I have spoken with my PS a couple of times and now am settled on a 450CC High Profile Xtra Mentor implant, under the muscle. I’m confident in the decision and my PS is as well, so now we just do this thing. I am anxious and nervous. I don’t like the idea of being laid up after this, especially with three kids at home who rely pretty hard on their mom. My husband will take a week off from work to help me, and I have two sisters that will be on call after that. I’m extremely nervous about scarring. I’ve already ordered some boobie butter and scar salve from Eden Knows. I am hoping my PS will have more suggestions as well. I’ve ordered some post-op bras and lots of gel ice packs as well! And I’m all packed with my comfy robe, a blanky, and some zip up hoodies! My surgery center is a 4 hour drive away, so we (husband and I) will leave Sunday, surgery at 7am Monday, and return home Tuesday after I’ve rested. It does not feel real yet. And I freaking hate anesthesia. So that’ll be fun.

Just got back to our hotel. Surgery went excellent. My surgeon, anesthesiologist, and nurses were all wonderful and kind and so reassuring. I was the only patient they had all morning so I was definitely doted on which was so nice. Dr. Sonderman ended up going with Mentor- 450cc’s, high profile. I’m still unsure of what kind of lift he went with, so I will have to wait until I can remove my ace wrap to find out! The pain is definitely manageable so far. Some pressure on the sides of my breasts but I am comfortable and ready to eat =]
