9/3/21- I had my consultation two days ago. I chose Dr.Sonderman because I love his photos of lifts without implants. Which seems very hard to find. He also really seems to understand nipple placement. He puts them nice and high! In fact at my consultation he showed me where my nipples will sit. I'm in love. The staff was excellent. Now the last 2 week count down till I get my lift.
Backstory: I'm one of those women who's breast were never were perky. They grew in and down. I've also had 5 children and breastfed them all so thr situation is pretty bad right now.

Before Pics

Just want to show my before pictures so others can see my starting point.
My current weight is 140lbs. I'm about 12 days away from surgery. I ordered an outfit to wear after surgery. I bought a pair of stretchy long shorts and a robe. I seen in my instructions it says bring an outfit of loose easy to put on clothes. So I though what better than light robe.

Hey! What procedure are you doing? I have similar shape/size and am interested in a lift without implant but not sure if that is possible yet.

I'm getting just the Lift! An anchor lift to be exact. My surgeon thought I certainly had enough for a lift without implants. He doesn't like to push implants.

How much were you quoted ?

$6,710 was my Total Cost. Surgeons fee, surgery center fee, and Anesthesiologist fee all in one!

I’m excited to see your results! I’m researching weather or not to have implants or not with my lift. We have similar boobies! I also breastfed 5 babies!!

Ill definitely post updates! :) I'm firm at not wanting implants. It depends on how you feel though. Some people really want 'permanet pushup bra' upper pole fullness. Personally I like the way natural breast sit better so for me it was important to find a doctor that doesn't rely on implants to make a nice shape.

Day Before Surgery Rant
MissHannahMSeptember 19, 2021
This is NOT a rant about my surgeons office. In fact I'll praise them shortly. But rather a rant about the surgery center they use where I'll be having surgery. I'll try to be clear and concise about the hiccup.
Before surgery they want you to get a Covid Test. (Perfectly Fine I completely understand why this is needed.) However I was told a few different things from their nurses.
CALL 1: I called them to see if a rapid test would be OK. They said yes. This nurse stressed it had to be within the 72 hours before surgery. Ok.
Call 2: Nurse called me to set up a MyChart account. She informs me it cannot me a rapid test. It has to be PCR test that can take 24 to 72 hours to get result...I hope you can see where this begins to stress me out. I'm 2 hours away from my surgeon in a small town there aren't many testing options that aren't rapid. Except my physicians office. 72 hours before surgery is Friday...if results can take up to 72 hours...will I have them in time?
So I then call my physicians clinic so they can to the PCR test. They need a request for the test.
Call 3: I call the surgery center to ask if they will send a request to my clinic for the PCR test. This nurse then tells me since it's just an elective surgery, a rapid test is fine and that I could actually get the test within 5 days of the surgery since my surgery is on a Monday right after a weekend.
At this point I'm confused as to what test I actually need and when I need to get it. I hate to be a crybaby but I am someone who has anxiety attacks and will spiral into anxiety. I start having a full blown attack that I may not get the test in time or the results. And that I just paid in full for nothing. (Yes a bit dramatic. I tried deep breathing.)
(I also want to note some nurses said I had to bring a printed copy and others said my results could be on my phone as long as I had them...again confusing. )
Here comes comes praise!! Finally I call the surgeons office to ask them what test I'll need. The receptionist was kind. She said normally she'd have me call the surgery center and ask them, as they are the ones requesting the test. But since they obviously gave me conflicting information she helped and even contacted the surgeons assistant even on a day they were doing surgeries and she called me back. They sent the request to my physicians clinic and my clinic got me in. I got my results the next day. I can see the results on my phone but I was also able to have a friend print them off for me. I had test done on Friday and printed off Saturday.
Tomorrow is surgery day and I'm trying to relax finally after a week of misinformation and run around. I think what worried me most is that I'd not get the results back in time. My Dr's office sends you to their medical records department the next town over if you want your covid result printed...and if my results hadn't come back for 72 hours....then I'd have no print off for the surgery center. Luckily that's not how things turned out but when you have daily anxiety worst case scenario reins supreme despite wanting to be hopeful.
