Lift & 325/350 Cc Saline Mod+ Under Muscle

I'm 33 years old, 5'1 and 120lbs. I breastfed 3 children and they sucked the life out my boobs lol. I was a 34D before kids, 36DD/DDD while breastfeeding, and am currently a very sad 34C. My goal is to be a perky C or D. I went to 5 consultations and each had different opinions, some said just a lift with no implant unless I wanted to look humongous, others said I'd need 400-500cc implants! I went with a middle of the road Dr. that suggested something that was right around what I was originally thinking after online research. He will be doing an anchor lift with 325cc (right) and 350cc (left) implants under the muscle. He gave me the pros and cons of silicone and saline. I researched implants more on my own, watching videos on RS of breast movement with saline and with silicone. Both types have an unnatural movement and you can definitely tell there is an implant inside the boob either way. I realized fake is fake and there wasn't a big enough noticeable difference to outweigh the cons of silicone. For me, the negatives of silicone is 1. Having to get MRIs 2. Higher possible risk of medical issues 3. Price (wasn't worth paying more for something I was on the fence about). Doctor says he doesn't think rippling will be an issue since the implant is going under the muscle and I have enough skin and tissue to fully cover the implant. Also, I think because saline has less give, it might help uphold the lift a bit longer than silicone.
Therefore, I'm going with saline. The exact implants are Mentor round, smooth, moderate plus profile. I'm getting two slightly different sizes because my right is fuller than my left. Dr says 325 and 350, but since I'm going saline he said he'll actually adjust the amounts during surgery to get as close as possible to a perfect match. My pre-op was today, I have COVID testing on Sunday, and then surgery at 7:30am on Wednesday, July 1. Wish me luck!

COVID Testing
Mama_de_3June 28, 2020
Completed my covid-19 testing this morning, and it was definitely not pleasant. It kind of reminded me of a saline wash. Burned the back of the nose, made my eyes water. The kept the swab in for about 15 seconds, the burning lasted a few minutes. On a positive note, only 3 days until my surgery!

Yay!! Wow quickly do you get results? Also, I asked about testing at my consult and they said it is always done but it's a spit test not swab.
June 29, 2020
I just got the results about an hour ago, so next day results. I've never heard of a spit test, mine was swab and that's what I've always seen on the news and stuff so I don't have any input for the spit test. Let me know though if you end up getting a different kind of test.

I thought I was super prepared for surgery but one thing I wish I’d gotten was yeast infection medication bcus of the antibiotics. So if you’re prone to them, have some medication handy. Also stool softeners and laxatives are needed. A recliner really helped me. I have a detailed review but if you have any questions, I’m here for ya. I’m 11 days post op

Luckily I've never had a yeast infection do hopefully no worries there but I do have the stool softener and laxatives ready. Thanks for the tips! I'll definitely check out your story and keep up with your updates so I can know what's ahead. Hope you're doing well in your recovery so far!

MiraLax is helpful and you can eat/mix with anything. It's flavorless so it won't ruin the taste.

Covid test was borderline worse than some of my recovery! I was grossly unprepared for that level of pain haha. I swear she touched my brain.

Lol! Well I'm glad to hear your recovery hasn't been too painful in comparison.

The morning after (day 1 post-op)

Yesterday I was at the surgery center at 6:30am for my 7:30 surgery. The nurse putting in my IV blew out the vein on my hand and had to reinsert in my arm. Luckily she had given me numbing shots so I didn't feel the IVs which have always been my least favorite thing. But my hand is all bruised and swollen. After that I got marked up by the doc and and we went to the surgery room. Apparently, I slept for 3 hours after I was taken to recovery. Before my husband picked me up I had them give me some Tylenol. When we got home I had some chicken noodle soup and went back to sleep. I had another dose of Tylenol, my doc called to check up, and then I had 1 oxy pill because my boobs were starting to feel like rocks. I slept pretty good throughout the night. I think I'm going to be really happy with my size because they don't look too big even swollen and with all this gauze padding and that was my biggest concern that I was gonna come out way too busty for my liking. I'll ask at my pre-op if he stuck with 325/350 or altered it a bit during surgery. That's another great thing about saline, it can be filled once it's already inside so you can get the best matchup. The nurse who helped me before I left had a lift with saline implants done a few years ago and she loves hers, called it one of the best decisions she's ever made, that was reassuring and a nice way to end my visit.

Yay!!! Happy everything went well. Can't wait to hear and see more. As for me, I decided to go for it too! I'm schedule for August 5th. I am willing to bet I might get pushed out based on the rate of COVID infections here in TX but we'll see. Anyway, rest up and keep us posted!

That's exciting that you're gonna go for it! Do you have size and implant type picked out yet?
July 3, 2020
Going with Natrelle Soft Touch gel implants or 330cc. Doctor says I will lose some breast volume from the breast lift so it may end up looking like 310cc which I am ok with because I don't want to look top heavy.

Sounds like we are both going after a similar look. I'm actually not sure exactly how many cc's were used, I'll find out on Monday at my post op appointment. Hope you'll add pics and updates once you get started!
