I am at week 4 post op after vaser lipo on all abdo, flanks and bra-line. Generally I'm very happy, however as the swelling has reduced I notice I have an oblong section of 'swelling' on my lower ab area. It seems to be fairly fluid like and there is no pain involved. However I'm unsure if this is a seroma or a pocket of fat that the surgeon may have missed. Can you provide some more indications of how to determine this? I had this done overseas, so a follow up visit isn't possible.
Hello, I had gyno surgery about a year ago. I developed a seroma post op which caused a thick band of scar tissue. My PS did revision surgery about 3 months ago, however there is still some scar tissue that is left from the seroma. I consulted another PS to see what they thought. They said that vaser liposuction would remove the leftover scar tissue. Would vaser be a viablle treatment option to remove scar tissue?
Im scheduled for this procedure in five weeks in london I am rather worried and scared now as I've read quite a few reviews and they say it's very painful and they've had catheters and morphine etc I'm having lower abs upper abs bra roll and flanks ,hospital stay for two days after having abdominoplasty and Lipo five years ago that seems a breeze compared what I have read I'm just a bit worried why this seem to to be more of an intense procedure and why there send to be more seromas
38 y/o 67kgs, Vaser lipo 13 months ago, extracted +/- 2.4 liters fat. Since day 1 til today I still develop seroma. Post op was done accordingly and attended all 30+ massages/therapies and still stubborn as day 1 Last week ultrasound report again shows more than 25cc and being 5.5 cms wide I indeed can tell when touched is +/- that wide, hardened when touched and not that watery as in the early days. Tends to come a blackish color the last 5 months or so, need a final solution its been a YEAR!
I had a TT done with Vaser 360. Back/Flanks and apparently some abdominal etching of abs I was not expecting. My issue is that I have a seroma in my lower back right above my butt crack. Seroma formed after drain was removed. I had so much fluid aspirated the first time. I have since been going in almost daily for aspiration. Today I had about 35ml removed. I am wearing a compression garment with padding inside, a compression belt AND a pelvic belt. What else can be done?
Recently had my upper and lower abdomen drained with a fine-needle syringe 2x since my vaser-lipo/body tite procedure. 1st time 4 days post surgery and 2nd time 8 days post surgery. 2nd time; approx. 300 ccs watery red. The PA wants me to return again in another 4 days to drain more. My lymphatic massage therapist said that draining can cause larger cavities thus causing the cavity to become larger and fill with more fluid. Should I see another Dr?
I am 4.5 weeks post op vaser to my thighs. I have two distinct seroma pockets. One of them is like a water balloon where water clearly jiggles underneath the skin and can be aspirated easily with a syringe but the other seroma pocket is just contained, round and not like a water balloon. Its more like big swelling, inflammed sponge holding water but it is significant, protruding, round. How can this type of seroma be treated? Yes I get lymphatic massage but of no avail.
I got drained 3 times 700ml then 500ml and last 300ml how can I stop this coming back also my belly is really hard is this scar tissue due to the seroma and what is the pink scar on my belly from I woke from surgery with it
I did vaser 8 months ago and had ZERO results. In fact I have the same belly and flanks look even worse. But is it a seroma? Please help me based on your experience . My surgeon is apparently not good he said he will do another vaser on me for free but no word about seroma. Does it look like a seroma? Would it help if I did lymphatic massage now or is it too late? Please help I'm desperate and can't tell if I'm bloated, have more fat or a seroma.
I am 50 years old, 8 months post vaser lipo of abs and flanks. After drains were removed a seroma formed on right side and was drained by syringes 9 times over 2 weeks. I now have a slightly collapsed area with wavy diagonal lines or creases. Still tender feeling also. What was the likely cause and can this be corrected? Is revision possible or risky? I was diligent with pre/post op care. Also have a small lump to the left of my navel that I'd like gone. Pictures are attached. Thank you.
