Question

I am 50 years old, 8 months post vaser lipo of abs and flanks. After drains were removed a seroma formed on right side and was drained by syringes 9 times over 2 weeks. I now have a slightly collapsed area with wavy diagonal "lines" or "creases". Still tender feeling also. What was the likely cause and can this be corrected? Is revision possible or risky? I was diligent with pre/post op care. Also have a small lump to the left of my navel that I'd like gone. Pictures are attached. Thank you.

Seromas are common after and form of contouring or definition as the tissue layers are reduced significantly.  The body pushes fluid into open spaces to fill them - hence the seroma.
Even if you wore the garment 24/7 seromas can form.  They are treatable as was done.  Occasionally they leave slightly uneven areas.  Try massaging them firmly 3-4 times a day.
Failing that your Dr could revise the area, similarly with the lump.

Revision vaser surgery is offered only after 6 months following your high def lipo surgery. Any areas that are uneven or concerning can be addressed at this time.
