I had chin lipo before one month and now im thinking to do ultherapy, my question is does ultherapy interfere with chin lipo in this duration? (one month) furthermore i still have some hard lumps under my chin after chin lipo so does ultherapy will make those hard lumps worse or increase the chance to have more scar tissue and fibrosis?
I have had vaser liposuction on my stomach, and am wanting to get HIFU done to help tighten the skin. At my consultation, the nurse told me that HIFU (the particular technology her clinic uses is ULTRAcel Q+, which is produced by Cynosure) will also eliminate the small bits of fibrosis/scar tissue that formed under my skin after liposuction. However, I cannot find any information that supports this claim. Does HIFU affect fibrosis/scar tissue?
Hello, I recently heard from a derm that Thermage is a preferable treatment to Ultherapy and the reason for that is the latter, due to the high energy 'zaps', would leave subcutaneous tissue scarring. She says that while this is not something that we can see, it's may become a concern for the future because when you accumulate lots of those scars (via several Ultherapy sessions) you are no longer an effective candidate for thread lifts and other procedures. Should I be concerned?
I am a 62 year old and I had a face lift with SMAS, buccal fat pad removed and neck lift a year ago that left me with neck scar tissue and the jowls stayed. I massaged the neck and had ultrasound therapy. A year later the doctor went in to break some scar tissue and did liposuction of my jowls from the marionette lines. 6 weeks after, I still have the scar tissue there as you can see and I have 2 hard lumps for jowls, I am massaging and doing ultrasound in both areas again. I am massaging and doing the ultrasound therapy this time at home with a 3 MHz machine I purchased. Do you agree w/this
I am 38 getting married and Ultherapy was recommended by an esthetician to help with crows feet and a brow lift. I am concerned because 10 years ago I was in a serious car accident and the muscle of my eyebrow was severed. It has healed nicely and isnt very noticeable. I am nervous that having the Ultherapy could further weaken this muscle. How founded are my fears?
I'm not being dramatic. Im actually a med.resident and if you look at my other questions you'll see how drs responded that ultherapy is dangerous/can cause scar tissue. Im in my 20s. The last month has been hell. I look tired/not myself/cant explain changes but by experience I can tell its unhealthy. I did ultherapy below eyes till neck/trusted the dr blindly/should've done my research. Is there a chance that my age will work in my favor? Or will my facial architecture change for worse?
I understand that some drs will always stand by ultherapy. But can someone give a scientific explanation of what happens? Does it in fact cause injury and therefore apoptosis to healthy cells, and the response is hard to control so you dont know how the ultrasound waves will bounce around? How can you be a 100% sure there will be no scarring/internal damage? There are no long term clinical trials. What if it does indeed cause damage longterm, but short term it appears to create a tighter look?
I had Ulthera 10 days ago and the doctor said I might have welt which will go away in a 48 hours I have 2 and are under my jawline on upper neck and have gone bumpy & hard and not showing any signs of disappearing. I am worried this treatment has caused scar tissue and will not go away. I phoned the clinic and told the Dr. 5 days after treatment at the time and he assured me they would go, but now it's 10 days and they still haven't gone. Will they eventually go and how long will it take?
My face is covered with scar tissue and granulomas after bad injections with a board certified dermatologist over two years ago. I am 31 years old and used to look young for my age. I now look at least ten years older with bad skin
