What are the chances of damage during Ultherapy?

Why are there sooo many negative reviews? What are the chances of this happening to me? Can it cause scar tissue? Everyone seems to be aging faster with Ultherapy years down the line. Is this true? Faster aging in the long term?

Hello Sunshine. Thank you for asking such an important question. When an Ultherapy treatment is performed appropriately in the correct layer then there is no risk for fat loss or faster aging. Scar tissue is an expected and wanted result of the treatment as it is that focused collagen scar tissue that causes the tightening and lifting of the skin. If the treatment is done too deep into the fat layer then there may be some fat loss. This is why it is important to accurately interpret the ultrasound image on the screen before delivering the energy. I believe that the negative reviews you read on the internet are mostly people who were not appropriate candidates for the treatment to begin with. The Ultherapy device is just a tool and experience is critical in achieving results vs. complications. We have been performing the treatment for over 5 years and have never had a case of fat loss or faster aging that you describe. However, I have seen disasters happen to patients who were treated by inexperienced nurses or technicians. Make sure you are under the care of an experienced physician provider. Hope this helps answer your question.
