I developed a hernia years after my TT. Easy recovery, I am active, low body weight. Probably developed due to weight lifting. Report says:'Tiny fat-containing ventral body wall hernia inferior to the umbilicus levellinea alba; Defect measures 3 mm. sac is slightly right lateral to the midlinemeasures 8 x 4 mm'. NP rec no surgery and stop exercising so it doesn't become worse. But for AESTHETICS what should I do? I do not want to compromise my TT result or give up weight lifting
I first had my TT and DR repair in August 2020. It was mostly successful - skin was removed and I kept my old bellybutton. However, I ended up with a revision in February 2021 to improve the results. This time, my surgeon was able to remove more skin, and I ended up with a new bellybutton. Unfortunately, my skin wasnt elastic enough to stretch and fully remove the old bellybutton, so he just closed it up. Now its indented and Im wondering - is this normal? Can anything be done to improve it?
I had a tummy tuck two years ago, I have continued to maintain a very healthy weight however, I still feel like the doctor could have done more. I seem to have a lower belly bulge and excess skin. Would I benefit from a tummy tuck revision? Did the doctor go to natural on me? Im not happy with results and the dr told me to do more plank holds and Pilates. Looking for advice
I am interested in a revision tummy tuck because I would like my stretch marks gone or under my belly button. I also feel like I still have a lot of lose skin. Any opinions?
I had the procedure down 2 years ago but I find when I where a normal bikini bottom or swimmers I have to have them more like hipsters which does nothing for my figure and the fashion is mid to very high. Can I have the scar revised and is it recommended.
I had a tummy tuck , renuvion lipo 360 , fat transfer, about two years ago . I am not happy with my results. My skin wrinkles and hangs when I bend over . I still have banana rolls after 2 sessions of lipo renuvion . I have all theses scars and less than desirable results . I am looking for revision but alln told is not is normal to have skin hang and that the tolls are due to loose skin and not fat . I am posting my before and after . I am five pounds lighter than when I went under .
I had a tummy tuck 2 years ago, no liposuction. Initially I was very happy with the results but I have always felt not enough skin was taken and I have a lot of spare skin when I sit down. Standing up initially it looked great, but now I have bulges below my belly button. I can see and feel a visible gap below my belly button. Has my muscle repair failed? My surgeon says not? Where do I go from here?
Had a tummy tuck in 2020 it was horrible. The mounds area is protruding and hard and the lower left pushes forward too. In 2021 the same doctor was fixing it but he only attempted to fix the right side not the left side that was bulging. It looks slightly worse. The dr also attempted an upper stomach scar revision during tummy tuck and again in 2021 which is far worse than original. Its depressed and thin, cant feel tissue under scar. Did the blood circulation get destroyed by the revision?
45yr Male, caucasian, 6 ft Had scar revision therapy on my tummy tuck scar (hypertrophic) nearly 2 years ago. The doctor took out a substantially larger piece of skin surrounding the original scar than thought. Since revision operation scar has grown back hypertrophic and Ive developed a tightness in my abdomen and upper groin. Muscles often spasm and my rectus abdominis is very tight. Feels as if the muscle fascia is too tight. Also nerve sensitivity around new scar. Subconscious tightening?
