I live in Asia & am home for 2 weeks. Want to get my legs tan while in the U.S. I got a mild/med TCA peel & after I washed it my face was very red. I put on high SPF and went shopping, then to the tan salon. I turned off the face/shoulder lamps & covered my face with a towel & clothes immediately. My face was very red/swollen that night & next day. It is day 2, swelling/redness improved but still prominent. Is it the peel or a burn? If it is a burn, what do i do?? I'm kinda panicking!
I have very bad hyperpigmentation on my legs from insect bites and ingrown hairs, along with open pores that are brown. It is getting worst. I bought 25% at home TCA peel and have been preparing my legs by using a 3% hydroquinone cream for the past two weeks. I am light tanned complexion (caribbean ethnicity mainly african). I plan to do a spot test first but think i should treat the entire area rather than spots because its everywhere. Should I dilute this 25% or is it safe to use on legs.
Im planing to do a peel on my back , arms and some parts on my legs. I need to know if is possible to mix this 2 product with out any damage (burning or Hyperpigmamtation ) to my skin and if is yes for how long i cannot be exposure to the sun ? Does any of this acids that i mention cause Hyperpigmantation ?
I hope someone can help me here. I'm so desperate. I did a TCA Peel about a week ago on my legs. I know I'm stupid and I regret it a lot. It started to crack and peel and now I have those red 'lines'. I hope its clear on the photos. In real it looks much worse than on the photos. Why are they there and will they go away? I use some creme for minor burns and things like that. Will never do anything like that again but please I need help. Thank you!!!
Hey guys. In desperate need of a answer. Whenever I go the dermatologist , my questions cannot be answer so I decided to come here to get real answers . I bought a tca peel (15%) to use on my legs . I have hyper pigmentation but , it mainly affects the right leg . Things that may cause these marking are ; when insect bites constant itches triggers constant scratching and I have a big mark only the back of my leg since 11 now I'm 26 . Please help summer is coming and I would love to wear a dress
I've had dark spots on my legs for almost more than 2 to 3 years now which was caused by mosquito bites. I would like to have them removed and my dermatologist schedule me to do microdermabrasion at the end of this week and also he put me on retin A, hydroquinone for a week or so. I just want to find out if one treatment is enough to remove the marks as my dermatologist told me and would other treatment like TCA peel work better? i want to see immediate result if possible
