Red veins/scars after TCA Peel? (photos)

I hope someone can help me here. I'm so desperate. I did a TCA Peel about a week ago on my legs. I know I'm stupid and I regret it a lot. It started to crack and peel and now I have those red 'lines'. I hope its clear on the photos. In real it looks much worse than on the photos. Why are they there and will they go away? I use some creme for minor burns and things like that. Will never do anything like that again but please I need help. Thank you!!!

Hi and thank you for the question.  There are many like you out there!!!!The problem with self peeling is the internet. Almost every product in almost every concentration is available on line from the US and other countries. You tube videos show patient diaries of  self-TCA peeling and the anxious times during healing.   While the strongest and post powerful peeling agent for the skin at higher concentrations, TCA can have unfavorable consequences when used off the face without  professional knowledge of non-facial peeling.  As a rule, some of these early changes may be reversible, but no advice should be given here since it is time for you to see a doctor. It is best to see a board certified Dermatologist or Plastic Surgeon well versed in skin resurfacing and the care entailed.  For simple reassurance and a treatment plan, you will be much happier to see a doctor than to gather on line information. the areas you describe may be swelling around some spider veins and may or not be related to the peel itself, but more likely due to the inflammation and healing------ off-face.       Take a breathe, call a doctor, and do not be anxious.
