Can I get subcision of the temples if I have hyaluronic filler in my temples?

Question

Do I need to wait for my hyaluronic acid filler to fade away before I can get acne scar subcision of my temples? Or am I ok to get it done even with some filler in that area already? Thanks.

Subcision can indeed be performed in areas previously treated with HA fillers. On the other hand, problems can arise in people requiring subcision in areas that have been previously treated with permanent fillers. You would be wise to make certain to consult with an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologic experienced in subcision. Hope this helps and best of luck.
