Had smas, forehead and neck lift. 2 days shy from 2 months post-op. As long as I keep my head looking down then Its fine. This is the result the second I look up or tilted my head enough to take a zip of water. Emailed my surgeon and was told that its just muscle movement while its healing. I do feel that it has gotten worst instead of better. Am I just being paranoid? Is this normal? Should I not worry yet?
Good morning, 10 weeks ago I had a face lift SMAS and a neck lift. What do you think I have to wait?the jowls are still here, or are they just bumps that disappear over time? I have to repeat the surgery, or are they only swelling that disappear over time? Thank you
I am very disappointed as this wasnt what I expected. Can I get a revision to get this rectified. If so would I have to pay for another facelift. I am 70yrs old, slim, fit and healthy
Every day after week 4 till now week 7 my skin is much looser the neck tightness is gone. I'm seeing my board certified plastic surgeon next week but wanted your opinion. Many women who have seen me say it looks look a failed face/ neck lift. I had a SMAS with platysmaplasty 7 weeks ago. Thank you
1/8/14 I had a SMAS. Two days post-op I developed a seroma on the left side of neck, it was drained four times. The second week in February I developed a deep horizontal-ish indentation on my left cheek. The indentation, tightness and discomfort in my neck and cheek increases with turning my head to the right. My PS said he has never seen anything like this before. I was given a steroid injection, 2 1/2 weeks ago without any relief of symptoms. What is the indentation and how should it be treated?
