I'm 5-6 days post septoplasty and doing everything I'm supposed to and believe I'm healing well. However, I tend to flare my nostrils and have a bad habit of moving my nose left and right if i feel discomfort. I'm trying not to but will this impact healing and structure of my nose?
I had a septoplasty about 2 weeks ago and when when I seep on my side I feel the tip of my nose drag down ever so slightly and I feel pressure because of this. If I sleep on my either my left or right I can feel the slightest amount of pressure because of gravity being exerted from the front of my nose. Is this normal and will everything stiffen up in time, if so how long should it take?
I fell from roof about 8 months ago and got hit on the left side of the nose and almost at the center of the nose...now I have a deviated septum and this deviation is caused by the bones which hits with the ground ...like by hitting on left side the bones moves inward towards center and bends the septum .... I require a septoplasty or a rhinoplasty or some kind of minor operation without damaging the septum and which recovers only my broken bone from top and correct septum automatically ?
I had a septorhinoplasty procedure performed on 22/07. After the operation, my septum appeared to be significantly straightened and my nostrils equal. However, while My nose is still straight, my nostrils appear to be different now and the septum is sticking out from where it had been straightened. I don't know if this always was the case but disguised by blood or whether me trying to clean my nose has ruined the result. My appointment is in 3 days with my surgeon, is there anything I should do?
3 weeks after surgery, I was told by my plastic surgeon I popped a stitched. We are now almost 2 months post surgery and my nose is still very swollen and sensitive to the touch. I was informed at the 6 month mark, after swelling has subsided, I would need to be adjusted and restitched, as the septum may have moved, it was hard to tell due to swelling. What is your take on my pictures I provided? Is this normal? Is there some other issue you see?
Hi I had septoplasty with turbant reduction and also a tip strut put in my nose 12 days ago, while sleeping last night I bumped it pretty hard and felt some pain at the bottom of my septum, and was curious if I did any damage and what would it look like if it happened, I'm going to make an appointment with my sent but takes months to see him and really worried I messed it up..
I had a septorhinoplasty done 8 days ago and im starting to feel like there move Inside the upper portion of the nose. When I tilt to the side I feel it move and make a clicking sound. However when I stretch my forhead skin upwards and tighten the cast it doesn't move, what should I do and would this affect my healing process.
I had a septoplasty about 1,5 / 2 years ago. I had a deviated septum showing from one of the nostrils. The surgeon fixed it by pulling the septum to the correct position and fixating it with stitches (from what he explained). Everything was okay and healed well but recently I started feeling pain in my septum and when I do a specific movement I hear a click and something gets stuck, causing a lot of pain. Feels like the medial crus is moving and getting stuck.
