How easy is it to move your septum and nose tip after surgery?

Hi I had septoplasty with turbant reduction and also a tip strut put in my nose 12 days ago, while sleeping last night I bumped it pretty hard and felt some pain at the bottom of my septum, and was curious if I did any damage and what would it look like if it happened, I'm going to make an appointment with my sent but takes months to see him and really worried I messed it up..

Dear mcreadAlthough an elective appointment may take months, I suspect if you call his office and explain that you are concerned about displacing your graft at 12 days post surgery, he will make time to see you. Generally, it is unlikely you caused real damage if your nose still looks the same and you are breathing the same through your nose.Call his office and request an immediate follow up.

The are lying on top of the nasal prominence of the maxilla, therefore patients may feel a "click" or a pain when they smile or express gestures, though normally this is not a serious problem in the mid-long term.

It's unlikely  you moved the strut or anterior edge of you septum. It's best to Followup with your surgeon.  At 12 days postop there will be settling and it may be difficult to fully assess.   Likely your surgeon will monitor you closely.
