In January I had one vial of sculptra done in my neck. I notice lumps over a month after. Some of them are visible and bothers me a lot. I spoke to the doctor that did it and she said this was a reaction of my body and will disappear. Im not sure it will and I dont know what to do. Can I still massage it? How do I know if it is a surgery case? She said that saline water could be applied to resolve it faster, but Im not sure I want to go back there. Will this disappear?
Hi I am female mid 50s with just a touch of laxity in face and neck, would like to try sculptra but spent a long time struggling with overfullness from facial fat transfer. I have asked the practitioner to do one vial at a time so we can proceed really slowly but her advice is that it wont do anything that way. Does going lightly like this actually prevent the process working properly in the long run or just slow it down (which is my goal)? Many thanks!
Surgeon placed sculptura in neck last July and nodules formed within weeks. He then over treated with Kenalog. Now I have atrophy from kenalog and discoloration. My chief complaint was neck rings and now I have a disfigurement. 2nd opinions say surgically remove nodule but I think a scar would make this even worse. Please tell me what I should do or where to go to have this corrected. Im just sick about it and need an experts skills. Thanks!
I had 2 viles of Sculptra put in my cheeks and along my jaw line. 7 years ago i had lip under my chin and as I've aged, the fat all disappeared and my neck is sagging. I'm 28. I wanted to lift it, so I went to a board cert doc and he put two viles and i was so big right after. He said it's the fluid, and to give it 48 hours. I have a bad feeling that i lost my chiseled face. Will it go down? It's been 48 hours and i am a tiny bit bruised, but so big and uneven. Can 2 viles be this damaging?
I'm 61 and skin is in good condition, but I do have sagging, especially in my lower face and jawline and neck. The correct long term solution is a face/neck lift procedure. But in the meantime, since I cannot afford the downtime right NOW, what can I do such a sculptra to help me feel better about myself, but not ruin the ability to get a facelift in another year or so? What would the best timing be? Thank you!
I had 4 Exilis treatments done on my neck and lower face, last treatment was completed April 14 no improvement, can I use Sculptra after using Exilis? Exilis didn't work does that mean that Sculptra may not? Would Scupltra do anything for me at this point? I am 50 some laxity in neck area and cheeks look like they have moved downward causing slight jowling. Perlane on my marionette lines caused a pucker on each side of my mouth feels like PS office put dots causing puff. No face lift wanted
I went to a well reviewed RN to get fillers between my brows and in some jowl lines. She convinced me to try sculptra. After one treatment which was very painful, I was astounded to see that I looked like a different person and my face was lifted and filled in. My question is whether to continue for two more treatments. After a few days the effect has dissipated. Or should I save the money and get a face and neck lift? I'm 60 and my neck is awful.
