Sculptra or Radiesse for neck?

Sculptra is a bio-stimulant not a filler; by stimulating your skin to thicken it has minimal chance of promoting lumpiness. Radiesse is synthetic bone which has marvelous applications elsewhere but not on the neck.

Both Radiesse and Sculptra have the ability to create lumps, so there is no guarantee when using any type of filler. I prefer Sculptra over Radiesse for the neck because I believe that collagen production greatly benefits the crepeyness often found in this area. Also if other procedures are performed in conjunction, i.e. Radio Frequency (RF) micro-needling, or fractional CO2 erbium, this will work synergistically and not cause degradation of the product.

I prefer hyperdilute Radiesse to Sculptra in the neck, and find it is less likely to form lumps and has the nice benefit of immediate treatment gratification. For maximal nonsurgical neck rejuvenation, I often combine hyperdilute Radiesse with Botox/ Dysport injections and radiofrequncy microneedling. Best of luck!
