I (38y/o fem) had two sessions of sculptra this year: The first one in may, one vial was used, and a second one in July, with a second vial. The treated areas were the mid face (my area of concern), parallel to the nasolabial folds and along my chin - which I was very concerned about, as I feared it would distort my shape. The injector told me it wouldnt. Now, 10 weeks post 2nd treatment my face just looks round with no contour and my jaw is huge. Im scared it wont stop growing. Help!
Hi! I had sculptra done on my face a couple month ago. Since then I have developed what I believe to be sculptra bumps. On my chin along my jaw, and up the sides of my cheeks by my ears, I have all these tiny little bumps. I have had cystic acne and would get small flare ups but this is brand new. Now I have a new cyst like bump daily without pain or swelling associated with cysts, and then all the tiny bumps everywhere. I have topical clindamyacin and retin a prescribed. How do I get rid of it
Hi- My face is long and narrow. Im concerned that using Sculptra across jawline makes my face look bottom heavy. I really wish to widen the back of jaw ( Like Brad Pittwishful thinking) then a filler for the rest, that will hopefully firm without thickening so much. My chin area has never been addressed with fillers and realizing Sculptra would be disastrous, could I use a filler to smooth out the creases and dimpling from age without adding volume? Im over 55.
Im 38 years old and ever since my Pixel 8 and Halo treatments (last one was 7 months ago) the skin on my chin has thinned in certain spots. It looks like I lost fat or tissue resulting in idendations that I didnt have to that degree before the treatments. I didnt have any when I was younger. Ive noticed that older folks get those as the skin looses elastin/collagen and fat. Id like to thicken the skin on my chin pad to make it less obvious. Would sculptra be a good option in my case?
Recently I had a baby so I gained and lost weight fast. My face seems to have aged a lot . My chin in particular looks very strange and saggy when I talk. Is this loss of volume/ fat? Also there seems to be an empty patch of my cheek that looks like it's just hanging now. It's really depressing me Will filler or Sculptra fix it?
For lack of a better word, there is a large hole on the side of my chin/jaw. Depending on the lighting, it can even look like my cheeks are sagging down, but I know that's not the case; my skin is extremely tight. I don't know when or why this circular indentation appeared, but I'm interested in treating it. Will half a vial of Sculptra be enough to correct this? I hear 1 full vial generates as much as 5ccs of volume. Thanks!!
I got 2 vials of Sculptra in December, one mixed with Radiesse (temples, cheeks), another for the side of my jowls and chin. I got another vial of Sculptra in February, again in the temples and right side of my jaw. Now I have a bulldog face and temples aren't even that different from before. Apart from my cheeks being better I hate the way I now look, saggy jowls and square masculine jaw. What can I do? Will masseter Botox work? More Sculptra in the temples? Other fillers? Help please!
I am a 39-year old woman. The elasticity of my skin around my jaw, chin and cheeks bother me. I went in for a routine botox treatment with an RN injector at a clinic I have used before and trust suggested Sculptra. 2 days later I am having buyers remorse and not wanting the second round. I am concerned I made either a 2-year or very expensive mistake. Should I find a physician to do the second round of Sculptra or just let it go?
