Can Sculptra be injected in the chin pad to thicken the skin in that area? (Photo)

I’m 38 years old and ever since my Pixel 8 and Halo treatments (last one was 7 months ago) the skin on my chin has thinned in certain spots. It looks like I lost fat or tissue resulting in idendations that I didn’t have to that degree before the treatments. I didn’t have any when I was younger. I’ve noticed that older folks get those as the skin looses elastin/collagen and fat. I’d like to thicken the skin on my chin pad to make it less obvious. Would sculptra be a good option in my case?

While Sculptra is a possibility. It is relatively expensive and typically requires around three treatment sessions to achieve results. For this reason, I gave up using Sculptra a decade again, especially when robust HA fillers that had far more durable results came on the scene. HA fillers have the additional advantage of yielding immediate, i.e. on-the-spot results in most often a "one and done" treatment session. And, if for any reason the results need to be reversed, a dissolving enzyme can be used to do so--something that also cannot be done with Sculptra. Make sure to consult an experienced, board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.
