Recently I had a baby so I gained and lost weight fast. My face seems to have aged a lot . My chin in particular looks very strange and saggy when I talk. Is this loss of volume/ fat? Also there seems to be an empty patch of my cheek that looks like it's just hanging now. It's really depressing me Will filler or Sculptra fix it?
Answer: Non-Surgical Chin Augmentation with Injectable Fillers -- Radiesse, Sculptra, Surgical Implants, See an Expert A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the overall appearance of the lower face and balancing the jaw and lip harmony. We use cannula injections to meticulously contour and project the chin, soften the chin along the jawline and improve the chin crease.Implants are still a great option once you are 100% positive that you are ready for a permanent enhancement. I suggest getting a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert; our practice is located right here in Los Angeles. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Nonsurgical Chin Rejuvenation Often A Combination Of Injectable Volumizing Fillers & Botox There is unfortunately no substitute for an in-person, close-up examination that allows not only for viewing the chin in frontal, profile and three-quarter face views, as well as at rest and with motion. What I can say is that injectable hyaluronic acid-based volumizing fillers, such as Voluma XC and Neauvia Intense Flux, work well for shaping and contouring the chin and restoring more pleasing projection when these are needed. Microboluses of a neuromodulator, such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin or Jeaveau can be helpful when movement of the chin muscle results in a cobblestone or dimpling of the chin. The kind of crinkling and parallel smile lines that are evident in some of the photos, particularly on your left side, can be helped with the use of an injectable hyaluronic acid-based skin booster, such as Restylane Silk or Viscoderm Hydroboosters, injected in a gridlike bolus pattern or fanned via a cannula through the lower cheek region. You would be wise to seek consultation with a board certified aesthetic physician and make certain to ask to see his/her personal before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck and Happy New Year.

Answer: Injectable treatments restore youthful volume to the face Injectable fillers are a great way to restore youthful volume to the face. While Sculptra is one option, it’s not the only one. Hyaluronic acid fillers like Restylane Refyne and Defyne are very good choices around the mouth, as they add the volume you want without compromising your ability to move your mouth naturally. Sculptra can help in the midface, although you won’t see positive results right away. This collagen stimulator works deep within the dermal structure to trigger the body to produce more collagen. The additional collagen adds the needed volume over time, with results that can last up to two years. Make sure you work with an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon to ensure an optimal outcome.

Answer: Chin augmentation with Restylane Lyft; Sculptra for panfacial volume loss Sculptra is a great treatment option for facial volume loss. It works by stimulating collagen production. I would probably recommend a combination of hyaluronic acid based fillers and Sculptra for optimal results. I would use Restylane Lyft to augment the chin and Sculptra to restore lost volume throughout the remainder of the face.

Answer: Sculptra Hi there,Schedule a consultation with a certified injector. Sculptra would help with the volume loss areas to create more asymmetry. There are finer fillers as well to do some more detailed work. The right injector will evaluate and treat properly.Best of luck...
