I have weird creepy looking skin under my eye now, along with what appears to be wrinkles and strange red marks that are deep & look like scars.I was applying avocado oil then washing it off with warm water after 15 minutes, could this have harmed my skin? Or could this be caused by over using eye creams and face masks in the past?Is it fixable? I'm 20 years old will these marks go away? Please someone help me this is making me really depressed and now I can't sleep I just keep looking at them!:(
When I was around 6 or 7 yrs old I accidentally ran into my dad while he was holding his lot cigarette. I was then burned below my bottom eye. I was a child and it hurt so bad that I remember rubbing my eye as soon as I got burned. Needless to say I was left with a dark circular scar underneath my eye. A few yrs ago I tried a 25% tca peel on tryin to remove it but did nothing. Tried prescription 4% hydroquione and nothing. Derm is the one go only suggested the hydroquoine cream to fade. Didnt work
I had a huge cyst that was under my eye. And I had it treated by a dermatologist when it came on, but it still scarred horribly. Is there anything I can do to weaken the way the scar looks? Or like, could maybe I have it cut off or something? lol
My girlfriend was in a car accident and now has a scar from her forehead to her mouth. She has had some plastic surgery, but the doctors told her to have realistic expectations. Her mouth is still crooked, her cheek is looking better and there is a scar on her forehead. She is most concerned about the scar under her eye tugging it down and making it droopy. What kind of plastic surgery can be done to help correct that?
I had a lower Bleph skin incision and then sometime later a vein removed from under my eye. The surgeon who removed the vein, cut near the corner of my eye and now my eye is rounded and what looks like webbing. At times the scar runs vertical and other times my eye looks rounded. Can this be fixed or should I leave it alone? Who would be the best doctor to fix this? How would be be fixed? I am scared my eye will end up smaller and look more pulled (overtime) with more surgery? please help.
Hi I've had a mild hypertrophic scar under my right eye since 2012 due to facial trauma. I hate how it sticks out and would greatly appreciate leads to cost and viable options to removing it. II've had several cosmetic procedures like micro needling, chemical peels, Morpheus 8, cosmelian peel to ultimately ' get rid of scar'. I am aware that a scar may be minimized to a degree however I'm convinced that scar plasty in repositioning, cutting out scar is the best option at this point. Thank you
Hi! I noticed a white dot under my left eye and tried to pop it because I thought it was a pimple. It started turning red which I figured is blood so I just left it. After a while I noticed it started turning brown. After some research I think its Milia and because of the popping, I think it started scarring. Is there anything I can do? Will this disappear on its own or is it permanent? Thank you! *please see reference photo
Sandpaper dermabrasion caused facial scar to raise creating a dent next to it, done a couple months ago. How can I fix this?!?! I had this procedure before 6 years ago with no problems. This time the scar has raised up creating the illusion of a crease under my eye that was not there prior. Others have noticed it also, the Dr said it prob wont go down and there is nothing I can do. I went to a reputable place. I am prone to keloids and this reminds me of raised tattoo scarring not thick pink keloids. What can I do to possibly get it down? Dr. said filler could make it worse bc of the scar and possible migration of filler
Hi, I had an injury almost 5 weeks ago now, my dog scratched me under me eye. Although it healed really well I have noticed it is raised, it seems to fluctuate in size though. Im wondering what type of treatment would be best to flatten and smooth the scar given how delicate the eye area is? Is it best to do something about it now or wait until its healed a bit more? I know its small, but its bothering me a lot. Thanks, Laura
