How to Remove Indented Scars Left by Stitches?

Question

I had eye bag surgery about 16months ago. Although it looks much better now, but now i have a scar which disturbs me. It is a very fine line, bit indented, along the stich line. How to remove this without surgery? How to make it elevated and flat with the rest of my skin? Can maderma or bio-oil work? Or laser resurfacing, chemical peeling? Or will it heal by itself? Please help, i really hate it.

At this stage of the scar, I would recommend percutaneous scar release and laser skin resurfacing with fractional co2.  Use Melaquin PM or equivalent prior to your laser treatment.

It may be possible to improve the appearance of your lower eyelid scars by laser resurfacing. I have used this technique many times to improve the appearance of eyelid scars as it tends to blend in nicely. I would discuss this with your surgeon.

First try a filler like Restylane, than fat or Selphyl. If still not satisfied than a scar revision can be done inder local anesthesia. But discuss with your surgeon first. From MIAMI Dr. B
