Can an open roof gap surgery and rhinoplasty be performed at the same time?

I am interested in a rhinoplasty surgery and would like to know whether this can be combined with treating a slight gap on my nose (to treat open roof gap deformity) I also have a small bump in the same area where the open roof gap is (on the nasal bridge) and wondering if both these issues can be adressed though surgery?

In simple terms, treatment of the open roof as well as control of the general shape of the nasal bridge are carried out in the same intervention.
The open roof is more common problem is generated by previous surgery and because of this septal cartilage may not be sufficient to control the shape. In my experience, costal cartilage can be of help in situations like this and will provide sufficient material to work on all the existing concerns related to the nasal bridge.

Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can understand from your question you nasal bump and open roof deformity can be fixes in one surgery. However, you need to be careful when you choose your surgeon. If you can provide photos from front of your face, from the side of your face and 1 meter away I would be able to make a proper evaluation. Thank you for your question. Yes - correction of an open roof deformity can be performed in an open revision rhinoplasty. An open roof deformity is typically the result of a reduction of the nasal bridge (hump) during rhinoplasty without adequately restructuring the nasal bones (osteotomies) and stabilizing the midvault of the nose (spreader grafts).
