I got a rhinoplasty in turkey that has left me feeling like a stranger to myself. I used to have a round tip that I asked my doctor to slightly reduce but since hes turkish there was a miscommunication and he gave me a pointy tip.
I had a rhinoplasty 2 years ago. While the shape of my nose was greatly improved, the tip is still very pointy and projects a lot from my face. Im wondering if a revision rhinoplasty would improve my result and create better harmony for face. The tip of my nose still points down and feels quite large for my face.
My previous surgery was a fail and now i have a huge shapeless nasal bridge and a pointy tip. I had a collapse from my first surgery on one side so the new dr did osteotomies and put cartilage on the collapsed side. The thing is now it looks like a balloon. Can i get the bones and cartilage shaved a bit with revision or will it collapse again?
I had surgery a few years back for a broken nose and then another comped one to fix some irregularity in the tip. I recently rebroke my nose and besides it being slightly crooked I've been thinking it looks kind of pointy and sticks out still. How hard of a surgery is it to make it less pointy? I've seen someone out where I live and we met and they quoted me and said there was some things they could do.
I received a septorhinoplasty last year. I think the Dr. pulled in my columella to create tension to straighten the tip of my nose. my nostrils you can see them A LOT and before that was not a problem. I didnt know my nostrils were assymetrical. now that they lifted my tip, every time i took a photo or I look up, you can see them My nose before was a bit wider and straight, but now the nostrils are the problem and probably the tip is too lifted and pointy ?? What do u think
Hello :) Im currently 6 months post op from my septorhinoplasty with colum stut graft and when I first got by cast off (middle photo) I was absolutely in love with my new nose. It wasn't until I got to about week 5 when the swelling went down that I realised features of my old nose (first photo) were starting to reappear (last photo) my tip had dropped and looked bigger and the shape of my nose had gone back to being pointy like it used to be. Will I need a second rhinoplasty?
Hello, My initial rhinoplasty was very aggressive and my bridge was scooped, pointy tip rounded. I am looking for revision rhinoplasty to rebuild my bridge and restore my tip. My surgeon shortened and rounded my tip. I used to have a pointy and long tip. The tip change makes my nose bulbous and unflattering wheh smiling, as my tip used to point down when smiling. Is there any procedure that can elongate my nose and make it pointy again?
I am almost 8 months post op rhinoplasty but I feel like the tip looks a bit weird. Sharp or pointy. It still feels very hard specially the very tip. Can this round out and soften or get sharper and pointier ? Thank you
The top is the before and the bottom is after . I am two days getting my cast off and absolutely hate my results. I asked for just a little tip refinement from the sides and instead was given an overly pinched squidward nose. My soft cute feature is gone and now replaced by a grinch pointy nose. Its way too small for my face. I know there is swelling but Im guessing swelling will decrease it and make it even smaller which is worse do I have any hope to make it softer and rounded again?
I had expressed to my surgeon that I wanted a smaller looking nose and that I wanted the tip reduced, the dorsal hump to be reduced and to fix my deviated septum. I expressed these concerns to my surgeon but I feel like my results werent achieved with what I was asking, he did straighten out my bridge and fixed my deviated septum but he didnt make my tip smaller, before I had asked him and he insisted on using my existing anatomy and now I feel my nose looks big and pointy.
