I had a revision rhinoplasty in late 2019. I merely asked for a minimal improvement for my side profile and breathing as I didn't have a major issue with the look of my nose. The doctor did a full reconstruction (grafts everywhere) with resulted in an extremely large, asymmetrical nose that changed the look of my entire face. He did a touch up procedure in 2023 to fix a large, glaring lump, but my results are still bad. What is my best approach to fix this?
I had a rhinoplasty 4 years ago. It was fine but 1 year ago I developed a lump on the bridge and it is getting bigger over time. It feels hard like scar tissue. Im scared it will keep getting bigger. What could it be? I cannot go back to my original surgeon, he is no longer practising. Ive consulted with a couple of uk surgeons but they are not keen on taking on a revision from another surgeon.
Hi, i had fibrous tissue removed internally from my left side Its left my nose deformed. It was meant to be very minor to take out the little lumpp i had and now its 3 times as big and hard. It was taken out through my nostril. It was closed surgery. I am massaging but whaat else can i do as its just so very obvious.
Hello, doctors. I have a question concerning how access to the columella, specifically to the area underlying the columella skin, is obtained during a closed rhinoplasty. One of my revision rhinoplasty issues includes a hard lump of scar tissue that formed under the columella area that causes my columella to look asymmetrical and skewed and was not addressed during my primary rhinoplasty. How might this scar tissue mass be accessed and removed through a closed revision rhinoplasty?
Had rhinoplasty in 2017. This lump is in between the skin . What is this and how easy is this to remove without having full surgery again. Can this be removed by a dermatologist or will it have to ge by a rhinoplasty specialist. I just would like this removed please.
I had a septorhinoplasty with turbinate reduction. Everything has healed well except for this little lump on the left side of my nose. The doctor said that it might stay there but that it is not noticeable. I wanted to ask if it is noticeable or not? Or what procedures are available since I do not want another surgery that opens my nose all the way again unless it is truly necessary.
I had a septorhinoplasty done last October Within the month after my surgery I noticed a lump on the tip of my nose. I am over 6 months post op Now and the lump is more there and prominent as ever and affecting the shape of my nose. I saw my surgeon he said cartilage he used in the graft had dislodged. He can fix it with revision but we still have to wait until at least 6 months. What is the likely outcome of this revision and should I find a surgeon specialised inthis particular revision?
I'm currently 7 months post rhinoplasty, but for the past week or so I've developed this strange white bump on my right nostril. It is white and hurts to the touch. I am able to breathe well but I've noticed it's gotten bigger. What do you think this might be or the reason why? Should I be concerned? I've also noticed my tip is changing some days it looks fuller than other days. Thank you!
Good afternoon, I had rhinoplasty around 6 years ago now and although I am happy with the side profile I have never been happy with my nose when looking at it from above or below. As you can see from above my nose seems to look very droopy and long and also from below my nostrils are both very different in shape, I also have a lump in one of my nostrils since having the rhinoplasty which i think could be a keloid scar? Could injectables help with the droopy tip or a second rhinoplasty?
