(1st photo is taken when I'm laying down on my side) I had a rhinoplasty about 3 years ago mainly to address a hump. I'm fairly happy with it from my side but not from the front and it feels like my nose has just gotten more crooked over the years. (2nd photo is recent front view, 3rd is about 6 months after my surgery) Is there a collapse and is it a cause for concern? How can I fix this with a revision rhinoplasty? I don't have any major breathing problems as of now. Just when sleeping
Hi I had primarty rhinoplasty in 2023, revision in 2024. My nose was very crooked after primary, I also had valve collapse and breathing problems. My natural nose had slim bridge, now after revision is wide and tip is wide too, spreader grafts were used to correct crookedness. Can another revision fix the width issue and how? Im attaching pictures for your evaluaton.
I had a septorhinoplasty three years ago + nasal valve collapse struts. Im very happy with side profile and my breathing issues have resolved. From front on, I find my nose very crooked still, especially wwhen smiling. My PS said he feels its minor and wouldnt suggest a revision, however it still bothers me. Should I seek other opinions, or is it not worth it? Is it possible I need more rigorous surgery, or perhaps the deviated septum re-deviated? Thank you!
Its been a depressing journey trying to get the nose Ive always wanted. I started with primary and 4 years later had collapsed the nostrils i couldnt breath well because the technique used was weak. I ended up getting a revision I can fully breath after that however one side of my nose tip was overprotected which left me looking a bit Witchy, the nose bridge also seemed wider but Im unsure what part he built. 2 years later I was always depressed about the side and quarter view because it was so pointy and I looked like dobby so the dr did a revision small procedure touch up where he de projected the tip but this time he had cut my nostrils and this is what Im upset about. I dont know what has happened and how it can be fixed so please help. My nostril flare I had gave me that feminine look to my face and was something I did love about my nose but now its just stitched down and I dont have that cartilage type curve flare anymore so now it kinda makes my nose look wide and dominant front on I feel masculine and quarter view photos doesnt have that nice curve it looks more masculine and I am really upset about it, how can I get this back? the other thing is the bridge I feel like its to fat. My next biggest issue is my lips , my philtrum seems 2 of dropped and is flat like its so ugly and manly. If I get a lip lift is there a way to pull the nostril to flare more and lift the lip? photos attached when I hold my lip and nostrils down n out.
So I had my surgery 13months ago and I don't like what the surgeon has done to my columella, I know it hanged but I like the look for it as it was ethnic, is there any way of achieving the same so of columella look I had before- like I don't know if this will make sense but even my columella was thicker than before now it is very thin- I loved the diamond shape it produced, I will need to have surgery anyways as I am having breathing issues- any advice on how to achieve it techniques etc
I have had 2 procedures for a deviated septum. 1 was 15 years ago following a break. The surgery that was more complicated than the surgeon expected. The second was in fall of 2019 because the deviated septum was back. The surgeon focused on correcting the breathing issues and less on the cosmetic part, but he told me that he would make it look good. My nose is still very hard and I have a lot of scar tissue. I had steroid shots post 2nd surgery with minimal results. Is there anything I can do?
I had a revision rhinoplasty about a decade ago with septal cartilage grafts including large spreader grafts and tip grafts. My nose was left with some deformities but functioned ok, with some skin issues and poor drainage. 9 days ago I was hit on the nose in a pub but someone either walking or swinging his arm into my nose. Initially, I experienced a numb pain briefly and slightly altered breathing (internal swelling?). My nose did not bleed and there was no swelling evident initially. 6 days after the impact I woke up with a slightly swollen nose, in particular around the tip. My skin was red and slightly tender. My main symptoms are a tender nose with some breathing problems, and it's quite dry internally. The bone is not broken and the caudal septum hasn't shifted. Will the nose be swollen internally and would that likely cause those symptoms?
Hello! I had a rhinoplasty April 30, 2020. After healing, I noticed my nostrils were/are very blocked. I've gone back to my surgeon multiple times in the past 1.5 years and he first said allergies, then gave me nasal cones to push back. Those didn't do anything but I was breathing SOO much better with them in. He then gave me steroids shots which didn't do anything. Finally, he clipped a little bit up into my nose which seemed to help very slightly. Looking for advice. B&A pics posted.
I had my nose done two years ago. Initially after my surgery, I had issues breathing from the right side of my nose. My doctor said there was lot more swelling on that side. Two years in, I am still having trouble breathing from the right side. I constantly feel congested as if something is stuck. Whenever I blow my nose, hard, there is blood. When I lie on my left side and use decongestants theres rare relief. When I take a deep breath my nostril caves in because its always congested.
I am 30 years about 10 years ago I had rhynoplasty done to correct deviated septum plus change the appereance of my nose. Now I have trouble breathing from one of my nostrils and I am not please with the results. I was told by a surgeon online that he could not perform revision rhynoplasty. I hope there is something that can be done.
