I had a revision rhinoplasty about a decade ago with septal cartilage grafts including large spreader grafts and tip grafts. My nose was left with some deformities but functioned ok, with some skin issues and poor drainage. 9 days ago I was hit on the nose in a pub but someone either walking or swinging his arm into my nose. Initially, I experienced a numb pain briefly and slightly altered breathing (internal swelling?). My nose did not bleed and there was no swelling evident initially. 6 days after the impact I woke up with a slightly swollen nose, in particular around the tip. My skin was red and slightly tender. My main symptoms are a tender nose with some breathing problems, and it's quite dry internally. The bone is not broken and the caudal septum hasn't shifted. Will the nose be swollen internally and would that likely cause those symptoms?
