I got a rhinoplasty 2 years ago. Results were disastrous and had a graft in my left side that broke off and was just floating in the skin. Doctor agreed for a revision and I expressed other concerns regarding breathing and super disproportionate shape. He went back in to fix it and took an ear graft. 2 months post operation and it still looks terrible what do I do? Go back for a third revision or see another doctor? Legal action? I dont see myself in the mirror and am seriously depressed now.
Had my first rhinoplasty in July 2018. I had a hanging collumella that I wanted to fix after the procedure. So, i Went in for revision with same doctor in May 2022. my nose got worse. The above photo is my nose 1 year after my first revision. Went to someone else July 27 2023 to actually correct the collumella, narrow the bridge, and shorten projection of the tip. The photo below is almost 2 months post second revision. What happened to me
I am an 18 year old female with white skin and is 54. I weigh 110 pounds. Immediately after my cast removal I noticed something was wrong. One side looks more caved in than the other but both sides are pretty pinched. My doctor said that this is because the skin is still stuck together but after intensive research I can tell that he might have taken too much cartilage. When I smile it looks like my nostrils separate from the rest of my bridge and my breathing has become way worse.
Can I get a revision tip plasty without removing my Gore-Tex/ePTFE implant? I had ePTFE implanted in my nasal bridge 2 months ago and would like to get my tip corrected because my tip droops everytime I smile but I'm really happy with my nose bridge. It's not too high.
My nose seems to be increasing in size everyday, my surgeon has said that this is swelling and that my nose will reduce in size and shrink however it really doesnt feel like it. It seems to be getting bigger everyday And my side profile is really long. My tip was not changed however appears to be bigger than what it was pre rhinoplasty! Please help Im starting to worry that my nose wont get smaller. I cant even consider a revision, as this rhinoplasty was a already a revision.
I had a revision rhinoplasty 10 weeks ago. The nose is still swollen. However 10 days ago I noticed that my columella appears to be a bit crooked and nostrils look uneven. It wasn't like this before surgery. And it wasn't this way a month ago. I'm not sure whether this issue is permanent or its just uneven swelling.
Hi! I did my revision rhinoplasty about 2 months ago and I'm having some scar tissue build up in the upper part of the nose(where my bump used to be) My doctor injected kenalog 10 in the area and the scar tissue went away for a week then came back. This was 4.5 week ago, should I ask the doctor to try with Kenalog 40?
For the first time I was prescribed Afrin after my revision rhino. I didnt know it was humanly possible to breathe that well. Also didnt know it was dangerous to keep using/habit forming...now Im addicted. I cannot go to bed without one spray in each nostril. How do I wean myself off the sauce without being a mouth breather? When I stop use my nose closes completely! Can I replace with a different product that works just as well, but is safe? These OTC sprays do nothing so far.
For my 2nd revision 2 months ago my dr discovered a black hole. He took out my shifted L implant, replaced with alloderm to bridge and didnt want to use foreign materials becayse i had the hole and the e es high infection risk . He didnt fixed my perforation and avoided to touch the area. Is it dangerous to have a black hole? I function n breathe normally. I had ear/septum cartilage in my nose + L implant in the past and either of my previous nose jobs caused nasal perforation
How soon after open rhino can minor rasping be performed? Procedure was done 2 months ago and a minor bump has appeared which is is hard and not swelling. At my first 1 month post op, the dr suggested that I allow the swelling to come down which I did but now I'm 2 months. First off, could rasping help to address this issue and is it possible to perform this with success at my 2 month post op? If so, what is the recovery like? I have attached pictures to help. Thank you.
