Hello, I had a rhinoplasty done in Dec 2023. Im now 11 months post op but my bridge is not straight like I wanted. The tip has a bump (button) because of its projection. My surgeon offered to deproject my nose in office under local. Is that safe?
11 months back I had secondary rhinoplasty to correct tip deviation , asymmetry alar rims & radix volume. after revision I don't feel fruitful results rather I feel depressed due to worse of alar rims shape. No rib or ear graft used till now. My intention is to have symmetry alar rims & that alar rims shape must be to original shape if not give it semi 6 circle shape & add a bit of width for overall size of nose. I see deviation right side & left side at moustache. GUIDE.
I'm so upset. I am 11 months post open rhinoplasty to correct several problems (crooked septum, droopy tip, hanging columella and alar retraction). My nose is still crooked and looks like it has been smushed to one side and my nostrils are still too large, but I can live with those issues. I CANNOT live with the lumpy asymmetrical tip from what I presume is poor placement of cartilage. Can the appearance of the lumps be minimized with filler? I really don't want another surgery so soon. Help!
I have had two rhinoplasty surgeries by the same surgeon, I love the shape of my nose but I have developed this dent in my dorsum. I am about 11 months out from my revision rhinoplasty surgery, and this just started showing about 1 month ago. It feels like a bone separation when I touch it. Could this be my skin shrink wrapping unevenly? I'm willing to travel anywhere to a surgeon that can fix this without filler or undergoing another full revision :D
Wondering if I need a revision or if Im being too picky. Doctor did an open rhinoplasty on my naturally upturned nose to lengthen it with septum cartilage. Corrected hanging columella and hump. Told doc that front view was most important to me. I wanted less nostril visibility and defined/contoured tip. Is this swelling even though my skin is thin? Still seems short and bulbous from front. Profile looks good. Doc said he would narrow the bridge as revision but didnt address the bulbous tip.
I had my initial rhinoplasty in 2010. After, my nose had a lot of asymmetry and after 5 years there was a piece of cartilage poking me and I was getting random nose bleeds. I had a revision 11 months ago and stressed that I wanted to look like me. The day of surgery the doctor told me he was going to raise my bridge, I could have walked out and not got my money back, but I chose to stay. I look like a completely different person, and not in a good way, and my nostril collapses when I exercise.
