About 3 months ago I underwent radiesse treatment in the periorbital area. The right eye gave no problems but under the left, almost at the level of the cheekbone from the nose to the end of the sickle eye, there was swelling and very evident redness. Over time the swelling has decreased but the redness and two swollen areas that are neither hard nor painful remain. According to the doctor it is not filler but a subcutaneous edema because the radiesse would have been injected into the muscles.
I had normal swelling after the injections for about a week or so. Loved the results once the swelling went away. Out of the blue, I woke up last week with my face swollen all over again, as if I just had my face injected. It's been 2-3 months, and it isn't going down. Trying to figure out why and what I can do for the swelling to go away? Thanks.
Hi! I had one syringe of Radiesse injected into each of my cheeks 5 days ago to add volume. I am experiencing a very unfomfortqble amount of pressure in my left cheek, especially when I smile - almost like theres a rock pressing down on that area. My left is also more swollen and firmer than my right. My right feels sore but isnt bothering me nearly as much. Is this normal to have this much pressure and for the aftermath to be worse in one cheek that the other? Any feedback is helpful, thanks!
I had radiesse injected into cleft chin a little over 3 weeks ago. Hate the results, product has migrated down causing a longer chin and my dimple is not even 30 percent improved. I'm still sore if I touch it and today I noticed what felt kind of like a lymph node, was a very tender lump right were the underside of my neck meets my jaw (submental?). I don't trust my nurse injector so what does this mean, is it serious and how do I treat this? I have no other signs of inf. and great teeth
I have been injected with Radiesse in the past for fullness of cheeks. I was injected two weeks ago to balance my cheeks, giving them a bit more symmetry. At the time of injection, the Radiesse seemed to 'travel' making my one tear trough puffy. That was two weeks ago and its hasn't gone down. My doctor said it was my lympathic system and the swelling should go away in time. Any ideas?
I had a chin inj. with radiesse in august 15. sadly it went wrong and the sides of my chin got thick+swollen. my doctor gave me cortison inj. to trim down the knots. now i got holes instead. also my jawline is uneven and looks like a double chin. is it possible to suck the lumps out? my doctor wants to fill up the wholes, but i feel like i want to get rid of the lups that make my jawline uneven first. i like to have a fine jawline, very straight like before. I marked my lumps red.
I went to my doctor's seeking a filler to even out and fill in my smile folds. The doctor had a two for one syringe sale of Radiesse, and talked me into filling in around the chin area. Now, I look like I have a case of mumps. Chipmunk cheeks, swollen along just above the jawline. What can be done now?
Had my cheeks augmented four days ago with Radiesse.. I'm wondering if my cheeks are too big for my face? And could my cheeks still be swollen? When I'm not smiling they seem fine but when I smile not sure if it's a good look. Any suggestions?
I just had radiuses yesterday. She said she placed 2 syringes of 1.5 ea. it was placed in the nasolabial folds and marionette lines. She said she had a bit left and placed it on my cheeks. I am very swollen on my left side of my face and less swollen on my right. My husband said I looked like the joker and a totally different person. Will this go away? Please don't tell me I have to be like this for a year? I an freezing out. Please help. Is it removable? will the swelling subside
I had radiesse 14 days ago on right nasolabial fold. First was very swollen and little pain. Two days ago I was dehydrated and hot from exercise. I went to my injector because I was deezy, hot and tired. It's been two days since she saw me and I been drinking loots of fluids. I am still hot (99F) , feel tired , with the radiesse a little swollen. It's there a posibility this is an infection for radiesse? or still having dehydration symptoms? should I see an internist or a plastic surgeon?
