Hi, I had Radiesse jawline treatment which built a mandible angle and softened my pre jowls sulcus. I want to get masseter Botox as I feel like the Radiesse treatment has broadened my front profile and Id like to try to soften this. I had masseter botox pre-Radiesse and reacted well. I just wanted to confirm botox can be injected over existing Radiesse filler without problems? I feel like the Radiesse was applied using fanning technique and may he over my masseters. Please advise. Thanks!
Hello. I have been experiencing very mild jowls . To help with this I recently got .7 of radiesse posterior and anteriorly to the area subtle area of laxity. I love my rn but he also threw in a small bead of radiesse in the area of the laxity to lift the Joel but now it looks more prominent. Good news it wasnt more that .1-.2 cc but enough yo emphasize it more. Any suggestions how to to either remove this or mask it? Will I need to do more around it till it starts to dissipate? How long lasts?
I am a 30-year-old female with antegonial notch and jowling. I think the notch accentuates the jowling. Do you think notch fillers here would improve things? I know there is an artery there, but maybe it would be safe if an ultrasound was used? Would you recommend something else to help the jowls? I think prejowl sulcus filler can make the chin look too wide and masculine, so I don't think I'd do that...
Was not wanting the Y shaped high cheek bone look. I told the person injecting I have never had high cheek bones and just wanted to lift the jowls. Wanted to still look like myself and didn't want it to be noticeable. The cheek bones are now big and stick out laterally. She didn't tell me Radiesse isn't dissolvable like other fillers if I don't like the results. Are my cheeks/bones going to go down a lot more then they are in these pictures and if they don't is there anything I can do about this?
My goal was to fill in some jowl hollows. I was very chin heavy for a few weeks afterward but now that the swelling has gone down, it is very clear where the radiesse was injected....in two very specific areas. My chin was not lumpy like this before. He injected some under the chin, too, which you can see underneath. Will this still settle more or am I stuck with this for 6-12 months. I am freaking out.
Hello, I've been unhappy with the look of my slightly asymmetrical, uneven jaw and my recessed chin. Since I'm still a student and my budget is limited, I was wondering how many ml of filler would be appropriate for my face. I also wanted to ask which type (Radiesse, Juvederm...? ) you would recommend. Thank you for your answers in advance. Best J.
I had hyperdiluted radiesse done about a year ago and developed a few nodules around my mouth. The doctor injected me with (I think) sodium thiosulfate and it seemed to reduce them. However, I just got fillers around my temples and in the top corner of my nasal labial folds, which seemed to lift my jowls up quite a bit. Now I can see that I still have a couple of nodules. One is in my cheek and the other is in the corner of my mouth, above my lip. Please help!
Hi! I have a slight sagging of the jowl and nasal labial folds. I'm 40, otherwise healthy, and have been diagnosed with discoid (not systemic) lupus. My condition is well under control with Plaquinil and I haven't had a flare in at least 11 years. Would I be able to use radiesse or sculptra or thread lift to remediate the sagging jowl and nasolabial folds? Or is fat transfer my only option? Please help. Thank you
I have struggled with some jowling and looking tired as I approach 40. My doctor used 1 syringe of Radiesse lyft in my cheeks and 3 syringes of Restylane in my nasolabial area from my nose down to my jaw. I am 5 days out from the procedure and I have some concerns about the way it has changed my face when I smile. My smile lines are uneven and the corners of my mouth are looking odd, it reminds me of the Jokers smile. Is this possibly residual swelling?
