I am 60 year old woman who was treated with Radeiesse injections in the fold area and sagging jowl area. How soon would I see a result or is 60 too old for this treatment.
Answer: Improving Jowls with Fillers, Fat, ultherapy, thermage, viva, lasers, microneedling/prp It can take 1-2 weeks for final results with Radiesse. For jowls, a combination approach is needed to get the most improvement. I like fillers for the folds themselves and to provide anatomical support, Sculptra for collagen building along with Ultherapy and rf treatments to provide skin tightening and lift. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Radiesse From Radiesse you should see results immediately from the carrier especially in the nasolabial fold. after 2 weeks you should have a significant result. 60 is not old! Be sure you see a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon

Answer: Radiesse Marionette lines and sagging jowls Hello and thank you for your posting. I believe that 2 wks is entirely too early to judge. Unfortunately, as we gracefully age, our ability to make collagen decreases, and you may either need more volume to replace your volume loss, or as Dr. Emer suggested, a combination approach with energy based devices, such as Ultherapy with fillers or PRP. I certainly hope you have an established follow up with your board certified injector

Answer: #Radiesse - 60 years of age see good results from Radiesse? The chronologic age is, of course, not the only consideration; others are the type and thickness of skin, sun damage, etc. You would need to be seen in person by a board-certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist for a full and complete evaluation. Radiesse can give a nice improvement although I use it increasingly to provide fullness to the malar regions (and thereby some "lift") along with some at the top of the nasolabial folds. Overfilling those folds does not (normally - in my opinion) provide the maximum aesthetic improvement. I hope that this helps and good luck, Dr. Alan Engler, Member of #RealSelf500
