Was not wanting the Y shaped high cheek bone look. I told the person injecting I have never had high cheek bones and just wanted to lift the jowls. Wanted to still look like myself and didn't want it to be noticeable. The cheek bones are now big and stick out laterally. She didn't tell me Radiesse isn't dissolvable like other fillers if I don't like the results. Are my cheeks/bones going to go down a lot more then they are in these pictures and if they don't is there anything I can do about this?
Answer: Radiesse in cheeks Radiesse is best used to volumize the cheeks and fill in nasolabial folds. Since it has only been 2 days there is most likely still swelling of the area and this will go down.It can take up to 2 weeks to see the rull result of a Radiesse injection. It can improve jowling slightly but I would suggest a more permanent skin tightening treatment in this area such as ultherapy or profound RF.

Answer: Defusing radiesse to reduce unwanted volume Radiesse is an FDA-Approved filler that we use very frequently in our office to sculpt the contours of the face. Since we are a national center of excellence for filler reversal, we also encounter patients from other doctors' offices who wish to have Radiesse fillers removed for one reason or another. In our office, we employ a directed technique to visualize the filler material, if possible on ultrasound, and then use non-surgical methods to dissolve the filler or granuloma tissue using intralesional injections. There are many methods using a combination of enzymes, intralesional modulators of scar tissue, and Kenalog to help reduce volume and remaining filler. These techniques require meticulous attention to detail and can be performed at intervals of two to three weeks to achieve longterm effect. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Radiesse The swelling will go down within 10 days if you initially use ice followed by warm moist soaks. Also it depends how much filler is used in an area sometimes too much is no good. A little bit makes a difference for a more natural look. Not everybody needs 3 syringes at one sitting. The object is to look fresh and natural, not overdone. Hope this is helpful. JB

Answer: Lifting the Jowls / Non-surgical lower face lift -- Combination of Ultherapy, Renuvion, FaceTite, Thread Lifting, See an Expert Hi Pia, it doesn't appear that this person was knowledgeable in facial sculpting, which requires a great deal of precision and expertise. The good news is that, 3 days after injection, you're likely still swelling, so I suggest waiting 1 to 2 weeks to see your final results. We use fillers like Radiesse (and Voluma, Bellafill) to get improved volume in the cheeks and temples. When combined with other treatments, they can also assist with nasolabial folds, help strengthen the jawline, rejuvenate the hands, etc. However, for a lower face lift without surgery, you would need a combination of treatments such as Ultherapy, Renuvion (J-Plasma), FaceTite and thread lifting to obtain skin tightening and lift.I suggest getting a formal consultation with a cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert to develop a treatment plan that works for you. Answer: Radiesse injections to cheeks to lift jowls? Radiesse injection into the cheeks to lift the jowls is not ideal. Radiesse is good for lifting the cheeks if you have volume loss in the cheeks and reducing nasolabial lines.
